Tube bender
A tube bender is provided. A rotatable member is pivoted to a base, defines an inner space and has a rack portion extending around the pivot portion within the inner space, a first arched groove archedly extending around the pivot portion and a holding portion having a holding recess for a tube. An abutting assembly has an arm portion connected with the base and an abutting chunk assembled to the arm portion. A gear assembly includes a driving assembly for being driven by a driving tool and a rotating assembly which is pivoted to the base and rotatably connected with the driving assembly. The driving assembly is pivoted to the arm portion and non-coaxially arranged with the rotating assembly, and the rotating assembly has a first toothed portion meshed with the rack portion and a driven portion meshed with the driving assembly.
Manually operated rod stock bending device
This document presents a system and method for presenting the invention as a tool that provides the ability to bend and shape rebar type material with less stress on the human body aiding in preventing common injuries that occur from standard rebar tools and processes and it provides portability so that all work can be done at the job site saving time and money from having to go to a workshop to fabricate unique shaped rebar parts.
Multi-part conduit bender handle
A multi-part conduit bender handle preferably includes at least a lower tube and an upper tube. The lower tube preferably has an outer diameter, which allows a male national pipe tap (NPT) to be formed on opposing ends thereof. One end of the lower tube is threaded into a female NPT in a conduit bender head. An inner diameter of the upper tube is preferably sized to receive a EMT conduit. A modified female NPT is formed in one end of the upper tube and an opposing end is left open for insertion of the EMT conduit. The first modification difference is the inner diameter of the upper tube is preferably enlarged to about 1.00 inch on one end and the second modification difference is the depth of the modified NPT threads is preferably increased to about 0.85 inches.
TUBE BENDING TOOL
A tube bending tool (1) comprising support surfaces (2, 2, 2), between said surfaces a tube (3), to be bent, is placed. A pressure exerting unit (6) with an extension (8) displaceable towards the tube (3), where a convex, bent bearing surface (10) is provided in order to press against the tube (3) when said extension (8) delivers a force from the pressure exerting unit (6). The front portion (9) comprises elongated elements (12, 12). The outer ends of the elongated elements (12, 12) comprise displaceable and movable support elements which press on the outer surface of the tube. The inner ends (13, 13) of the elongated elements are cross-laid and movable, so that they during bending, press in a direction towards the center of the bending radius of the tube (3), at the same time as different radii of the bend (5) can be provided on different places. There is also an optional limiting means for bends over 90 degrees.
Systems and methods for performing spine surgery
A digitizer pointer is provided as part of a system for correcting a curvature or deformity in a patient's spine based on the digitized locations of implanted screws and tracking the placement of the rod as it is placed in a minimally invasive fashion. The digitizer pointer includes an offset adjustment feature, a swivel feature, and a translation feature.
Bending pliers
Bending pliers include first and second plier bodies connected together relatively turnably in mutually intersecting intermediate portions thereof by a pivot shaft, the bodies including first and second holding arms formed on one-end sides of the bodies, respectively, the arms respectively having plate-shaped first and second claw portions formed in their respective tip end portions and configured to hold a panel to be bent, and first and second handles formed on opposite-end sides of the bodies, respectively, and configured to open and close the arms, wherein a columnar bending fulcrum portion extending parallel to the shaft and projecting toward the second claw portion is formed at a tip end of the first claw portion, and a tip end of the second claw portion faces the fulcrum portion with a gap therebetween. The pliers form the bead portion in a smooth tubular shape in a folded portion of the panel.
Automotive bending tool and method of repairing automobile turbocharger system without removing or disassembling components of the turbocharger
A bending tool for shortening the length of a wastegate actuator arm (or linkage) of a turbocharger system of an automobile by applying or otherwise creating a bend or dent in a wastegate actuator arm to repair a leaky wastegate, and a method of repairing a leaky wastegate valve of a turbocharger system of an automobile without disassembling or removing components of the turbocharger system.
FAST CHANGE FOLD-A-WAY CROSS BOW SWING ARM MULTIPLE DIE TUBING BENDER
A tubing bender device includes a frame, handle, ratchet mechanism, slide rod and a frame notch. The tubing bender may be easily disassembled and assembled into a forward or reverse configuration through the use of connectors, two brackets and a bending mandrel. Reversibility is also provided by a cross bow bar support releasably secured to either the slide rod or to a bracket. The cross bow bar support may also be inverted to position die heads in either an upward or downward direction. Repositionable die heads may also be rotated relative to the support into an operative configuration when bending smaller diameter tubing. The repositionable die heads are rotated relative to the support into a non-operative configuration when bending larger diameter tubing.
Conduit coupling with indicator of bend plane
A conduit coupling includes a first connector at a first end of the conduit coupling, a second connector at a second end of the conduit coupling, and a stem between the first connector and the second connector. A first end of the stem is attached to the first connector. A second end of the stem is attached to the second connector. The stem is bent at a particular bend angle along a bend plane. The first connector includes an indicator that indicates an orientation of the bend plane.
