DRINK CONTAINERS
Provided is a container for drinking liquid comprising: a. a reservoir for holding liquid, the reservoir made from a material that shrinks as liquid leaves the reservoir, b. an opening for the liquid to leave the reservoir and exit the container; and c. a one way valve configured to be actuated by a person sucking the opening; wherein when the person sucks, the one way valve opens and the liquid leaves the container while the reservoir shrinks to compensate for volume of the liquid that left the container. In another embodiment, provided is a container for drinking liquid comprising: a) a housing in a shape of a phallus, the housing having a body and a cap, inside of the body of the housing having a reservoir for a liquid, the cap configured to be removably attached to the housing; and b) a channel in the cap configured to carry liquid from inside of the housing to outside of the container: wherein the reservoir is filled by removing the cap and pouring the liquid into the reservoir, and the liquid is consumed through the channel. Provided is a container for drinking liquid comprising: a) a body; b) a cap for removably attaching to the body, the cap having an opening configured to allow liquid to travel from inside of the container to outside of the container; c) a cup for holding liquid placed inside of the body, the cup maintained in proximity to a top of the body; wherein liquid leaves the cup and moves to the outside of the container through the opening in the cap. Also provided are mannequins in assembly with such containers.
MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION DEVICE
According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a medication administration device may comprise a sucking part having outlets, a cylinder part having a discharge hole, coupled with the sucking part, and containing a medication, a piston part discharging the medication from the cylinder part through the outlets, and an operating part operating the piston part in the cylinder part. The discharge hole may extend to the outlets.
Systems and methods for controlling delivery of breast milk supplementation
Systems and methods for controlling delivery of breast milk supplementation are described which include receiving information associated with a breast milk supplement regimen with a breast milk supplement delivery device, the breast milk supplement delivery device including a substrate sized for placement on a surface of a breast region of a lactating female, at least one supplement reservoir associated with the substrate and adapted to contain one or more breast milk supplements, the at least one supplement reservoir including a port with a controllable valve, a data storage component configured to store the breast milk supplement regimen, and a control unit operably coupled to the data storage component and the controllable valve and including a microprocessor and circuitry; and actuating the controllable valve of the at least one supplement reservoir to modulate release of the one or more breast milk supplements based on the received breast milk supplement regimen.
Feeding device and methods using the same
Briefly, a feeding device embodying features of the present invention approximately conforms to the shape of a human breast and includes at least one housing for storing fluid coupled to a dispensing portion having an apertured dispensing tip for delivering the fluid to an infant.
Apparatus, device, and method for infant gavage feeding
The disclosure includes embodiments of an apparatus, a device, and methods to transform an infant feeding bottle into an infant gavage feeding apparatus. According to an embodiment, an infant gavage feeding apparatus can include an infant feeding bottle, a gavage milk delivery component, a retaining ring, and a cord component. In another embodiment, infant milk dual-delivery device to transform an infant feeding bottle to an alternate nipple feeding and gavage feeding apparatus includes a gavage milk delivery component, a retaining ring, and a nipple receiving component. The gavage milk delivery component and the nipple receiving component can be positioned in a branched or a stacked configuration. The device can include a flow closure component and a controller to transition the milk flow for a gavage feeding and nipple feeding. The device can include a funnel to allow milk in the nipple to flow back into the infant feeding bottle.
NIPPLE SHIELD WITH PORT AND FLAP-COVERED CHANNEL TO SUPPLEMENT LACTATION DURING BREASTFEEDING
Nipple shields can be used by breastfeeding mothers to facilitate the feeding process. The disclosed embodiments relate to nipple shields with a port through which liquid supplement can flow from a supply tube into an interior section of the shield. The liquid supplement can be drawn through ports in a tip of the shield in order to augment a naturally expressed flow of milk. A flap of material is bonded to an interior portion of the nipple shield over an optional channel formed in the interior portion so as to form a closed, flap-covered channel leading from an input port on a lower portion of the shield to a an interior location near the tip of the shield.

Syringe-Type Baby Feeder
A syringe-type baby feeder having a barrel and plunger mechanism and finger rings on the barrel and plunger to allow for one-handed feeding of an infant. A nipple portion is hermetically sealed to end of the plunger to allow for easy feeding, as well as easy attachment and removal of the nipple portion to the plunger.
Premature infant pacifier
The apparatus and process described, allows the premature infant to continue the enjoyable in utero experience of sucking and swallowing that is halted upon birth. In particular the infant is afforded the opportunity to practice tasting, sucking, and swallowing on an individualized basis. This oral enjoyment and practice allow for positive association with feedings and provides a sensory-motor experience that may lead to earlier suck, swallow, breathe (SSB) synchrony. The process engages the esophagus and cardiac sphincter to function while the infant is still being fed through the feeding rube. Ultimately, the apparatus and process may also result in earlier weaning from feeding tubes, the reduction of feeding difficulties, and earlier discharge home.
