Die stacker
A die stacker for stacking stamping dies has a supporting base, an attachment stem projecting upwardly from said base for insertion into the slot of a slotted foot of a die, and a clamp moveably mounted on said stem which can be moved into or out of clamping engagement with a slotted die foot. Several such die stackers are attached to a die to support the die in a stack or on the floor with the die spaced above the floor.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR FORMING ATTACHMENT PADS
A tool for forming an attachment pad on a sheet material includes an anvil supported on a housing and defining a working axis for forming the pad. A slide block is supported on the housing for movement at least along the working axis, and a die block is supported opposite the slide block and is movable in directions along the working axis to cooperate with anvil to form the pad. At least one actuator on the housing biases the slide block in a direction toward the die block. The actuator is operable in a first mode wherein the slide block is movable toward and away from the die block, and a second mode wherein the slide block is locked against movement in a direction away from the die block. A selectively adjustable counterbalance device cooperates with the actuator to counterbalance a force applied to the slide block by the actuator.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PRESS-FORMED PRODUCT, PRESS FORMING DIE, AND PRESS-FORMED PRODUCT
A press-formed product is manufactured by press-forming a blank material into an intermediate shape, and further press-forming the blank material from the intermediate shape into the press-formed product having a target shape. A product portion of the target shape includes a first ridge line portion and a second ridge line portion each having a radius of curvature of 20 mm or smaller and a bending angle of 130 degrees or larger. The product portion of the intermediate shape has a curved shape having a radius of curvature of 100 mm or larger or a linear shape in a specific cross section. A height of an excess thickness portion of the intermediate shape is higher than 10 mm with respect to a peripheral portion and lower than a height of the excess thickness portion of the target shape.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING A PART FROM A PLATE MADE OF A FORMABLE MATERIAL, IN PARTICULAR FOR THE EDGE OF AN ELEMENT OF AN AIRCRAFT
Method and device for manufacturing a component from a plate made of deformable material, in particular for an edge of an element of an aircraft. The device includes a tool with two tool parts configured to be able to move closer to one another and are able to round a plate made of deformable material fixed to the two tool parts, a mold at the periphery of the tool and including a molding cavity of a shape corresponding to the shape of the component that is to be manufactured, and a displacement system configured to press the rounded plate firmly against the molding cavity of the mold, the mold being able to shape the rounded plate when it is pressed firmly against the molding cavity to give it its definitive shape, the device allowing the manufacture of single-piece components of varying sizes and notably large-sized components and/or deep components.
EXTERNAL, NUMERICALLY CONTROLLED, RAPID RECONFIGURABLE SURFACE MOLD AND FORMING METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed are an external, numerically controlled, rapid reconfigurable surface mold and forming method thereof In this mold, an external shape-adjusting component is composed of a height-regulating rod, a motor, and a sliding guide rail module. The height-regulating rod is connected to the sliding guide rail module, and the motor is coaxially connected to the height-regulating rod. In addition, the molding module consists of a plurality of basic body units with the same structure, the lower end of the basic body unit is installed in the mold box, the upper end of the basic body unit is matched with the lower end of the height-regulating rod, and the height of the basic body unit is adjustable. Subsequently, in the forming method, driven by the motor and under the action of the force of the lower end of the height-regulating rod, the height-regulating rod moves above the basic body units.
