A producing method of the press formed product includes a preparation step of preparing a metal sheet as a starting material; and a press working step of performing press working on the starting material. The press working step includes: during a time period from when pushing-in of the starting material into the die by the punch is started or immediately thereafter until the pushing-in of the punch with respect to the die reaches a predetermined distance short of a bottom dead point for the pushing-in, holding the pad at a position distant from the punch by the predetermined distance; when the pushing-in of the punch with respect to the die reaches the predetermined distance short of the bottom dead point, receiving the pad in the die; and continuing the pushing-in of the punch with respect to the die and the pad to the bottom dead point.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING TURBOMACHINE MEMBER RING SUPPORTS
Turbomachine member ring supports extending over sectors of a circle can be constructed from at least one thick flat metal sheet that is curved and welded to form a cylindrical shroud and then formed by pressing into a conical shroud, the outer face of which is machined in order to shape the profile of a mounting rail therein, and the shroud is sectioned in order to divide it into the sectors. The supports have better cohesion and the manufacture thereof is simple and reliable compared with traditional manufacture using bossing of thin metal sheets for joining together the main portions of the supports. The application also relates to a use with stator rings of a turbomachine member that are provided with an abradable lining.

Molding Tool for Producing Hot-Formed Components
A molding tool is provided for producing hot-formed components, in particular formed sheet metal parts. The molding tool includes a tool lower part and a tool upper part which are movable in relation to each other, and which include corresponding operative faces for shaping a hot-formed component. The operative face of at least one of the tool parts is configured so as to be coolable and that tool part includes cooling lines therein. At least one of the tool parts includes a clearance which in a closed state of the molding tool, conjointly with the hot-formed component, forms an air chamber. The air chamber functions as a thermal insulator between the hot-formed component and the tool part.

A tool may be used to shape and/or partially press harden a workpiece. In some examples, the tool may comprise a main body having a surface, as well as a heat conducting system containing a thermal medium. The heat conducting system is integrated in the tool in such a way that, for the heating of the surface, a heat radiating from a heat source is conducted by means of the heat conducting system to the surface of the main body. Further, the heat conducting system may comprise a thermal oil or a melt as the thermal medium. The surface of the main body may be configured to face the workpiece during the shaping or partial press hardening of the workpiece.
