PRESS-MOLDED ARTICLE MANUFACTURING METHOD AND PRESS APPARATUS
A method of manufacturing a press-molded article includes: projecting an inner pad, provided at an apex portion of a punch, from the punch toward a side of a die, and disposing a metal sheet blank on the inner pad; and projecting a die pad, provided at the die, from the die toward a side of the punch to dispose the die pad at a position separated from the inner pad by a predetermined distance that is greater than a plate thickness of the metal sheet blank; forming a side walls by moving the die toward the punch side relative to the die pad, the inner pad, and the punch, and integrating the die pad with the die; and forming a top plate by moving the die and the die pad, which have been integrated, and the inner pad, toward the punch side relative to the punch.
A PRESSING MACHINE AND A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A PRESS-FORMED PRODUCT
A method for manufacturing a press-formed product includes a first step and a second step. In the first step, a concavity is press formed in a blank by use of a punch and a first die. The punch has a shape corresponding to the shape of the entire press-formed product. The first die has a shape corresponding to at least the shape of the concavity. In the second step, a vertical wall and an edge portion are press formed in the blank by use of the punch and a second die. The second die is located adjacent to the first die. The second die has a shape corresponding to at least the shape of the vertical wall and the edge portion. The first step is completed after the second step is completed. The method allows production of a press-formed product which is excellent in fatigue resistance.
Apparatus, mold set, and method for producing metal-resin composite
An apparatus for manufacturing a metal-resin composite by press molding includes upper and lower molds sandwiching a metal member and a resin material, a molding auxiliary component detachably fixed to the upper mold to fill part of a cavity for the resin material between the upper and lower molds, and a drive unit that vertically moves at least one of the upper and lower molds. The molding auxiliary component has a first press surface for molding the metal member. The upper mold has a second press surface for integrally molding the metal member and the resin material when the molding auxiliary component is removed. The upper and lower molds are for pressing the resin material between the second press surface and the lower mold to cause the resin to flow to fill the cavity with the resin material when the molding auxiliary component is removed.
Press-forming method
A press-forming method which press-forms a final shaped article which comprises a top sheet part, vertical wall parts, and flange parts and which has at least one bent part in a longitudinal direction, which method forms the top sheet part, vertical wall parts, bent part, and flange parts, includes a first shaping process of bending a flange part at an intersecting part until an angle of the flange part with a horizontal line becomes .sub.1 in a plane which includes a horizontal line which connects an intersecting part of a vertical wall part and a flange part and a center of curvature of the bent part and which is vertical to the high strength steel sheet and a second shaping process of additionally bending the flange part after the first shaping process at the intersecting part until the angle of the flange part with the horizontal line becomes .sub.2 in that plane, makes the additional bending angle of .sub.1-.sub.2 predetermined ranges, and thereby reduces the warping and torsion of the final shaped article.

PRESSED COMPONENT MANUFACTURING METHOD, PRESSED COMPONENT, AND PRESS APPARATUS
A method for manufacturing a pressed component including an elongated top plate, a wall having one end connected to a short direction end portion of the top plate, that curves with a convex shape bowing toward an opposite side to the top plate as viewed from an upper side of the top plate, and that includes a sharp curve portion, and a flange that is connected to another end of the wall, and that extends in a plate thickness direction of the wall toward the opposite side to the top plate side. The manufacturing method includes pressing to form an intermediate formed component including a preliminary flange and pressing to deform the preliminary flange to form the preliminary flange into the flange.

METHOD FOR PRESSING GROOVE SECTION WITH BENDING ANGLE SMALLER THAN OR EQUAL TO 90 DEGREES
A method and an apparatus or pressing groove section with a bending angle smaller than or equal to 90 degrees are provided. The apparatus comprises an upper convex die and a lower concave die are used for processing. The convex die comprises an expansion sleeve and an expansion core which are nested with each other. At least one of a central hole of the sleeve body and the core body is a wedge with a larger top and a smaller bottom, and a relative locking mechanism is arranged between the core body and the core body. The concave die comprises a multi-petal-shaped inner concave die and an external outer concave die which are in elastic connection.
Method for producing pot-shaped components in a shaping process
A method for producing a pot-shaped component from a flat blank. The method comprises the following steps: a) shaping the flat blank in at least one deep-drawing step to form a pot-shaped raw component having a substantially flat bottom area and a circumferential frame, and b) shaping the pot-shaped raw component in a tool having a conically tapered die that applies shear to the circumferential surface of the frame in the axial direction against the conically tapered die. In step b), the bottom area is clamped between an ejector and a hold-down mechanism and the conically tapered die surrounds the bottom area of the raw component radially on the outside and extends in a diameter-reducing manner in a tool stroke.
