METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SEPARATOR
A method for manufacturing a separator that can effectively prevent warpage is provided. A method for manufacturing a separator according to an embodiment includes disposing a separator material 10 including a flow path forming region 11 between a first upper die 51 and a first lower die 50, and pressing the separator material 10 using the first upper die 51 and the first lower die 50 to thereby form a first recessed and projected shape 13 in the flow path forming region 11 and form a second recessed and projected shape 14 outside the flow path forming region 11.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR CUTTING PROFILES
An apparatus for cutting a profile, including: a cutter configured to make cuts on the profile having a first surface and a second surface, and having at least one rib on the first surface, wherein the cuts are made on the first surface of the profile; a first drive unit to drive the cutter forward and backward to and from the first surface of the profile; and a second drive unit to drive the cutter up and down along the first surface of the profile.
Window spacer frame punch assembly
An apparatus and method is provided for forming a spacer frame assembly used in the construction of insulating glass unit windows. The apparatus comprises a head arrangement having a body with first and second ends, the first end for coupling to a cylinder that advances and retracts the head arrangement in a reciprocating motion during operation. The second end includes an annular wedge-shaped ridge for coupling to a second annular wedge-shaped ridge of a die support, collectively the wedge-shaped ridge and second wedge-shaped ridge form a contact region to form a torus surface. The die support has at least one die for engaging a spacer frame assembly during operation. The apparatus further comprises a collar having a torus-shaped recess corresponding with the torus surface to nest and couple the body to the die support.
LINE FOR PRODUCING METAL PROFILES FOR PLASTERBOARD FALSE CEILINGS
A line for producing metal profiles for plasterboard false ceilings has in sequence, along a profile advancement direction, a profiling machine, a cutting group, a punching group, a system for extracting finished metal profiles from the punching group, and a management and control unit. The punching group has a first punching press of the portal type having a first punching head elongated along a first operating direction, and a second punching press of the portal type having a second punching head elongated along a second operating direction, parallel to the first operating direction and staggered with respect thereto along the profile advancement direction. The first punching head is longer than the second punching head. The management and control unit is configured to alternately operate in use the first or second punching press as a function of type or length of the metal profiles in output from the cutting group.
LINE FOR PRODUCING METAL PROFILES FOR PLASTERBOARD FALSE CEILINGS
A line for producing metal profiles for plasterboard false ceilings has a profiling machine, a cutting group, a punching group, an extraction system for extracting finished metal profiles from the punching group, and a management and control unit. The punching group has a first punching press having an elongated punching head along a first operating direction, and a plurality of second punching presses with C-support, arranged downstream of the first punching press and aligned with each other to form a row along a second operating direction. The management and control unit is configured to alternatively operate in use the first punching press and at least one part of the second punching presses as a function of type or length of the metal profiles in output from the cutting group. The extraction system, integrated with the second punching presses, and has a plurality of rollers, all or at least some motorized.
HYDRAULIC HAND-HELD KNOCKOUT PUNCH DRIVER
A hand-held knockout driver includes a main housing having a handle portion, a motor positioned within the main housing, a pump assembly driven by the motor, and a secondary housing coupled to the main housing and defining a bore therein. The hand-held knockout driver also includes a working piston moveable within the bore from a rest position to an actuated position to define a piston throw distance therebetween. The hand-held knockout driver also includes a draw stud coupled to the working piston, a die coupled to the secondary housing, and a punch coupled to the draw stud opposite the working piston for movement therewith relative to the die. The die has a depth greater than the piston throw distance.
HYDRAULIC PUNCH DEVICE
The invention relates to a hydraulic punch device with a hydraulically driven punch carrier for releasably seating a punch and a die with a die opening adapted to the punch cross-section of the punch. To provide a punch device that makes it possible to reliably produce differently shaped holes, the punch has a punch cross-section different from a circular cross-section.
Metal punch assembly and method of use thereof
A metal punch assembly for use with a ridged metal sheet includes a base member that defines a plurality of grooves. A plurality of punches are movably connected to the base member and are translatable from a retracted position to an extended position. The grooves formed by the base member are engageable with the ridges on the sheet such that the motion of the apparatus is limited to translation in two opposite directions.
Punch set for electrical box
A punch set for use with a punch tool to punch material from a wall of an electrical box. The punch set has a punch with a cutting section, and a die defining a cavity that is configured to receive the cutting section. The cutting section may have an annular or circular portion and a plurality of keyway forming portions each extending radially from the annular or circular portion. The cutting section of the punch may be insertable into the cavity of the die in a single orientation. The die may have a protrusion receivable within a recess of the punch when the cutting section is received in the cavity. One of the die or punch may have an extension that is receivable in a single orientation within an opening in the other of the die or punch.
