Spot weld removal punch
A spot weld removal punch preferably includes a punch body, a centering pin, a venting roll pin and a compression spring. The punch body preferably includes a punch shank, a body portion and a punch flange. The punch shank extends from one end of the punch flange and the body portion extends from an opposing end of the punch flange. A pin bore is formed in the end of the body portion to receive the centering pin and the compression spring. The venting roll pin is transversely inserted into the pin bore to retain the centering pin. A second embodiment of a spot weld removal punch preferably includes a punch body, a centering pin, a pin retention device, a replaceable impact head and a compression spring. The replaceable impact head may be replaced when thereof wears out.

PUNCHING APPARATUS
A punching apparatus includes a punch holder and a punching tool. The punch holder includes a guiding body having a mounting cavity to slidably receive the punching tool and a driving assembly connected to the guiding body and provided with a beating element having first and second connecting ends coupled by a threaded coupling that enables a relative rotation for a linear movement of the punching tool with respect to the beating element. A stopping element has a first end fixed inside a connecting cavity in one of the connecting ends and arranged to receive the other connecting end and a second end inserted into a stopping cavity of the other connecting end and sliding inside the stopping cavity.
Adjustable width blanking die apparatuses
A blanking die apparatus includes a first blanking die including an upper die shoe including an upper die shoe cutting surface and a lower die shoe including a lower die shoe cutting surface. A second blanking die includes an upper die shoe including an upper die shoe cutting surface and a lower die shoe including a lower die shoe cutting surface. The second blanking die movable on a base in a feed direction to increase and decrease a dimension of a blank formed between the first blanking die and the second blanking die.

Method for operating a hydraulically operated handheld device, and hydraulically operated handheld device
A hydraulically operated handheld device and a method of operating same are provided. The device includes a hydraulic pump, a moving part, a fixed part and a return valve with an associated valve seat. The moving part is moved into a working position due to the buildup of a hydraulic pressure by filling a hydraulic chamber with hydraulic medium from a reservoir with the aid of the hydraulic pump. The moving part can be automatically moved back from the working position into an end position upon reaching a predefined working pressure by opening the return valve. The hydraulic pressure acting upon the return valve is increased by a separately triggerable pressure increase, which results in opening of the return valve, in a hydraulic medium volume located upstream of the return valve in a flow direction of the hydraulic medium during the movement into the end position.
