Introduced in a System for Connecting Refrigerant Fluid Discharge Tubes to Cylinder Caps of Hermetic Compressors, and Corresponding Process of Performing Thereof
The present invention belongs to the technological field of compressors for cooling systems and, according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the connecting device includes a substantially cylindrical or tubular body provided, at one of its ends, with an outer perimetral projection and co-operative with a duct or channel of a cylinder cap, wherein, preferably, the device will be produced with steel, aluminum alloy, or other metal alloy with similar structural and thermal properties, mainly due to the stresses it may suffer during use and to be able to absorb the tolerance variations and to have a resilience capable of providing resistance at the time the connection undergoes mechanical stresses of performanceespecially torsion.
HIGH SECURITY FASTENER WITH BUCKLED SHROUD RETAINER
An improved fastener comprising a fastener body having a tool-engaging portion, a threaded fastening portion and a shroud-receiving body portion; a shroud concentrically mounted on the shroud-receiving body portion and having an inner surface facing an outer surface of the shroud-receiving body portion; the inner surface of the shroud comprising an annular groove and the shroud-receiving body portion comprising a substantially arch-shaped axially-buckled radially-extending annular protrusion extending outwardly transverse to the central axis and disposed in the annular groove of the shroud; and the annular protrusion and annular groove of the shroud forming a shroud-retaining element restraining the shroud from movement in at least a first axial direction along the central axis such that the shroud will rotate relative to the fastener body under an applied external torque prior to the fastener body rotating when the fastener is engaged with an external structure at a design installation torque.
HIGH SECURITY FASTENER WITH INTERNAL SHROUD BUCKLED RETAINER
An improved fastener comprising a fastener body orientated about a central axis and having a tool-engaging portion, a threaded fastening portion and a shroud-receiving portion having an inwardly facing annular groove orientated transverse to the central axis; a shroud concentrically mounted on the shroud-receiving portion to rotate relative to the fastener body under an applied external torque and having an axially-buckled radially-extending annular protrusion extending outwardly transverse to the central axis and disposed in the inwardly facing annular groove of the shroud-receiving portion of the body; the axially-buckled radially-extending annular protrusion of the shroud and the annular groove of the shroud-receiving portion of the body forming a shroud-retaining element restraining the shroud from movement in at least a first axial direction along the central axis.
Connection element and method for producing same
Methods for producing connecting or junction elements, which in some cases may be utilized in steel structures of towers for wind turbines, may involve using a flow forming process to produce which a flange and a casing integrally adjoining the flange from a blank. Further, an end of the casing opposite the flange may be adapted to a contour of a component to which the casing is intended to be connected. In some examples, the casing may be formed with a second flange. Likewise, in some examples, at least a portion of the casing may have a conical design.
TUBE WITH COMPRESSION FITTING AND FLARED FITTING USED WITH CONNECTION BODY AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A high-pressure tube compression fitting/flared fitting for use in combination with a thick-walled tube and a connection body wherein a sleeve is in engagement with a thick-walled tube. The sleeve is generally cylindrically shaped with the exterior thereof coated and then etched. The sleeve includes a first and second sharp inner circumferential biting edges which interengage and bite into and through the exterior of the end portion of the thick-walled tube and into the wall portion of the end portion of the thick-walled tube without narrowing the passageway through the thick-walled tube. The process for making the fitting includes placing an end portion of the thick-walled tube into engagement with a tube engaging surface of a tapered generally cylindrical wall of a guide rod.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A STEERING SHAFT PART AND STEERING SHAFT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A method may be utilized to produce a steering spindle part configured as a hollow shaft and having a connecting portion at its end. At least a part of the connecting portion includes increased wall thickness relative to a portion of the steering spindle part adjoining the connecting portion. The method may involve providing a circular, hollow cylindrical tube with an inner surface that is smooth in a circumferential direction, providing a circular, hollow cylindrical sleeve with an outer surface that is smooth in a circumferential direction, inserting the sleeve into an end portion of the tube, and jointly deforming the end portion of the tube and the sleeve such that a flow of material occurs. This flow may form positively locking elements on the tube and the sleeve that engage into one another in the circumferential direction and generate positive locking in the circumferential direction.
LOCKING SLEEVE APPARATUS
There is disclosed a locking sleeve apparatus for securing rotating connection components. In an embodiment, the locking sleeve apparatus comprises: an elongate tube having an inner profile configured to slidingly engage an outer profile of a plurality of rotating connection components; and one or more locking mechanisms positioned internally in the elongate tube near at least one end of the elongate tube; whereby, the plurality of rotating components are mechanically coupled by the elongate tube, and prevented from rotating relative to each other. The inner profile of the elongate tube matches commonly available rotating connection components with multi-sided outer profiles, such as hexagonal nuts. The rotating connection components are configured to rotate in opposite directions relative to each other to tighten or loosen. The one or more locking mechanisms keep the locking sleeve apparatus fitted over the rotating connection components to prevent loosening.
Spinner wrench for a drilling rig
A spinner wrench for use on a drilling rig is provided. In some embodiments, the wrench can comprise three or more spinning rollers that can be disposed around a tubular. The three or more rollers can be connected to three or more hydraulic rams. In some embodiments, each ram can be connected to a single roller and the axis of the ram can be in a plane perpendicular to the pipe axis but not intersecting the pipe axis. For improved performance during make-up, in planar view, each ram axis can be offset to a counterclockwise direction around the drill pipe axis. For improved performance during break-out, in planar view, each ram axis can be offset to the clockwise direction. In some embodiments, the three or more rollers can be disposed around the drilling pipe or other tubular by a main body and one or more latching bodies.
