The feeding bottle device comprising a teat component defining a teat volume therein and a container component defining a container volume therein. The teat component being attachable to the container component by means of an attachment component. The partitioning component comprises a first passage allowing a passage of fluid from the container volume to the teat volume and a second passage allowing a passage of fluid from the teat volume to the container volume, wherein the second passage is provided in the form of a one-way passage. The invention further relates to a corresponding feeding bottle device and a feeding method. The solutions according to the invention reduce the risk of colic-like symptoms for the infant.

Embodiments of the systems and methods described herein include a system of improved silicone bottle containers, adapters, and nipples that support the collection, storage, and feeding of breast milk. In some embodiments, a bottle system may include a bottle formed from molded silicone rubber including a bottom end having a recess, and a top end having an opening configured to receive and dispel contents, wherein the top end is spaced apart from the bottom end, and an inner adapter composed of molded standard thermo-plastic configured to engage with the top end of the bottle. The bottle system may also include a flat cap, nipple, nipple cover, nipple adapter, and/or breast pump adapter.

There is disclosed a drinking receptacle comprising: a container for containing a fluid for drinking; and an outlet member having an outlet through which the fluid is delivered under a pressure supplied by a user of the receptacle and a collar portion that attaches to an opening of the container such that an undersurface of the collar portion abuts with an upper surface of the opening of the container to form a substantially sealed engagement between the outlet member and the container; wherein either the undersurface of the collar portion or the upper surface of the opening of the container has at least one vent formed therein, the at least one vent being configured such that when said pressure is applied to the outlet member the at least one vent member permits the controlled ingress of air into the container to facilitate flow of fluid from the outlet, and when said pressure is removed the at least one vent member substantially prevents the ingress of air into the container to facilitate a controlled vacuum pressure within the container.
