Press ring, pressing tool, adapter element for a pressing tool, adapter element for a press ring, pressing device having an electric drive and a pressing tool, system having an adapter element for pressing a press fitting by means of a press ring. Here, the press ring has at least two different pairs of receiving elements for connection to a corresponding pair of connecting elements of different pressing tools. The pressing tool has at least two different pairs of connecting elements for connection to respectively one corresponding pair of receiving elements of different press rings. The adapter elements for a pressing tool and press ring each have a pair of connecting elements for connection to a corresponding pair of connecting elements of a pressing tool and a pair of connecting elements for connection to a corresponding pair of receiving elements of a press ring.

Rotary hydraulic valve

A hydraulic tool can include a hydraulic cylinder, a piston within the hydraulic cylinder, and a rotary valve. The piston can be configured to move between a retracted position and an extended position. The piston can include a piston ram and a piston rod that define a ram side and a rod side inside the hydraulic cylinder. The rotary valve can be moved between a first position and a second position. The first position can be configured to direct flow at a first variable speed and a first variable force to the ram side of the hydraulic cylinder and the second position can be configured to direct flow at a second variable speed and a second variable force to the rod side of the hydraulic cylinder.

Tool Head for a Hydraulic Power Tool

Embodiments of the disclosure provide a tool head for a hydraulic tool. The tool head includes a variety of lightweight, high-strength materials, such as titanium, titanium alloys, and carbon fibers. The tool head can be configured as a cutting, crimping, or pressing tool head.

Hand-held Pulling and Compressing Device
20240238960 · 2024-07-18 ·

The invention relates to a hand-held pulling and compressing device for driving interchangeable tools, with a drive unit with a battery operated electric motor, a screw drive with a threaded spindle connected to the electric motor and mounted rotatably on a housing body and a threaded nut mounted rotatably on the threaded spindle and non-rotatably on the housing body via a bearing unit, and a coupling unit connected to a first tool holder for transmitting tensile and compressive forces resulting from the direction of rotation of the threaded spindle from the threaded nut to the first tool holder.

In order to provide a hand-held pulling and compressing device that is reliably and flexibly suitable for driving interchangeable tools, it is provided that the screw drive is designed to transmit rotational movements of the threaded spindle to a second tool holder.

Pressing tool with safety element

A pressing tool for plastically deforming a workpiece is described. The pressing tool includes a housing and an electric motor for actuating the pressing tool. The pressing tool also includes an instrument seat which is adapted to receive an interchangeable instrument head at the housing. The pressing tool also includes a mechanical safety element which is arranged in a manner that is movable from an open position, in which an instrument head may be inserted into the instrument seat, into a closed position, in which the instrument head is locked in the instrument seat. The pressing tool additionally includes a mechanical actuating element which may interact with the safety element in order to be able to cause the pressing tool to be enabled for a pressing process.

Metal composite joints for composite rods

A method for joining composite rods with tubular shape includes internal and external collars applied to the ends of the composite rod and deformed via unidirectional compressive load applied by a clamp in the radial direction of the composite rod cross-section. The resulting plastic deformation of the metal collars and composite rod interlock those components to support both compressive and tensile loads.

RADIAL PRESS
20190039113 · 2019-02-07 ·

A radial press comprises a housing having a lateral portion and a supporting disk on the end face. A ring-like structure extends in the housing and can be displaced along a pressing axis. Multiple pressing jaws arranged around the axis are radially movably supported on the supporting disk. The ring-like structure acts upon the jaws with control faces angled relative to the axis and are seated against counter-faces of the jaws. The angle of the control faces changes as they progress in the axial direction, such that, along the maximum path of travel of the ring-like structure, the axial movement of said structure and the radial movement of the jaws produced thereby are at different ratios. The ring-like structure has exchangeable control elements on which control faces are provided. In planes perpendicular to the pressing axis, each control face is seated on a polygon having corners arranged between adjacent jaws.

Rotary crimping tool assembly

A rotary crimping tool assembly includes a tool housing defining a crimping chamber, and one or more crimp wheels within the crimping chamber. The crimping chamber is configured to receive the portion of the structure in proximity to the crimp wheel(s). The crimp wheel(s) are configured to be pressed into and rotated relative to the portion of the structure to form one or more crimps in the portion of the structure.
