HEAT EXCHANGER AND PRODUCTION METHOD OF THE HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat transfer tube of a heat exchanger is provided with a first and a second annular convex portions of which outer diameters are partially expanded. The first annular convex portion is positioned on an inner face side of a side plate portion of a case of the heat exchanger and is engaged with a circumferential edge portion of a first hole portion provided for the side plate portion, or the first annular convex portion contacts under pressure with an inner circumferential face of the first hole portion. The second annular convex portion is positioned on an outer face side of a header constituting member and is engaged with a circumferential edge portion of a second hole portion. Thus the side plate portion, the heat transfer tube, and a header are relatively fixed by a simple means.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A HEAT EXCHANGER AND HEAT EXCHANGER
A method for producing a heat exchanger having tubes, which may be fixed on longitudinal ends in associated openings of a tube plate of a collector, may first include applying an adhesive layer to an outside of each tube by lamination of one of an adhesive layer and an adhesive film. The method may then include inserting each tube with a longitudinal end side tube wall portion into a respective one of the associated openings on the tube plate, wherein the tube wall portion may be bent over in such a manner that it is placed against non-parallel walls of the respective one of the associated openings. The method may further include heating the adhesive layer for adhesive bonding of the tube wall portion of each tube to the non-parallel walls of the respective one of the associated openings.

TOOL FOR REPAIRING OUT-OF-ROUND COMPONENT
A tool for repairing an out-of-round component such as a combustor body is disclosed. The tool includes a base including a first arcuate member; a second arcuate member; and a linear actuator coupling the second arcuate member to the base. The linear actuator moves the second arcuate member between a retracted position out of engagement with the out-of-round component and an extended position in which the first arcuate member and the second arcuate member engage an interior surface of the out-of-round component in an opposing relationship to force the out-of-round component into a more round state compared to an initial state of the out-of-round component. A related method is also disclosed.
Manufacturing method for heat exchanger and device therefor, and air conditioner and/or external unit thereof equipped with heat exchanger manufactured using said method
The present invention provides manufacturing method of a heat exchanger that, even if the position of a tube opening portion of a tube of a heat exchanger for which tube expansion is conducted, varies depending on the type of a heat exchanger, a mechanism adjusting the stop position of a flare plate as well as any complicated adjusting work therefor are not necessary and a heat exchanger in which flares in the same shape and in constant certain depth are formed at an opening portion of a tube of various kinds of heat exchangers having different total lengths in the longitudinal direction, and a device for a heat exchanger manufacturing method, and an air conditioner and/or outdoor unit thereof equipped with a heat exchanger manufactured using said manufacturing method.

Expansion Cone with Rotational Lock
An expandable tubular having a receptacle at its lower end is installed in a wellbore. An axial force is generated on a solid cone assembly to push the solid cone assembly. The solid cone assembly includes a cone body formed from a drillable material, the cone body having an expansion surface, a first expansion profile formed in a first portion of the expansion surface, and a second expansion profile formed in a second portion of the expansion surface. The second expansion profile includes one or more facets. The facets of the second expansion profile engage the receptacle, providing a rotational lock to the cone body. After expansion of the expandable tubular, the cone body may be drilled or milled.
Elastomer formed beaded joint
A method for forming a conduit with a radial flange for forming part of a beaded coupling by: positioning a conduit blank in a forming die, wherein the forming die defines a radially extending recess; inserting a forming post in the conduit blank to define an annular space therebetween; inserting a flexible material in the annular space between the post and the conduit; placing a sleeve in a bearing relationship with the flexible material; compressing the flexible material between the post and the sleeve to force the flexible material against the conduit to expand the conduit outward into engagement with the radially extending recess in the forming die to form an annular flange; and releasing compression on the flexible material.
