A chuck body capable of clamping a pipe to be processed is disposed at an opening end of the mandrel sliding cavity. A mandrel is slidingly connected in the mandrel sliding cavity, an outer side end of the mandrel is provided with an obliquely disposed pipe expanding cone, an inner side end of the mandrel is provided with an elastic body accommodating cavity. Flat keys are disposed on the mandrel, and an elastic body is clamped and disposed between the flat keys and a bottom surface of the elastic body accommodating cavity.

A system for flaring an end of a fluid line includes a first and second adapter mountable on a first and second jaw of the gripping tool, respectively, and an arbor. Once mounted, the first and second adapters each have a working surface facing toward each other defining a channel half-profile. In a closed position, the working surfaces together form a channel from the half-profiles having a flare shape portion and a linear portion for receiving a fluid line in a non-slip fit. The working surface of one adapter has a U-shaped profile, and the other adapter is configured to be received therein. Each sidewall of the U-shaped profile defines a port opening into the channel. The arbor includes a die head that forms a flared end on a fluid line received in the channel as the arbor is inserted therein via the port.

A hand held flaring tool for flaring an end of a tube includes a body portion and a handle portion. The body portion receives the tube therein and includes a locking actuator operable to actuate a locking mechanism to secure the tube in the body portion. The body portion includes a flaring actuator operable to actuate a flaring mechanism to flare the end of the tube when the tube is secured in the body portion. The handle portion includes a grip portion that is grasped by a user's hand for supporting the body portion of the flaring tool during a flaring process of the tube. While the user is holding the handle portion to support the hand held flaring tool, the user is able to access and actuate first and second user inputs disposed at and accessible at the handle portion to actuate the locking actuator and flaring actuator.

Piping system

A piping system includes a flare machining mechanism and a screw machining mechanism that machines the ends of pipes by cold-pressed formation. The flare machining mechanism flares the ends of pipes outward and the screw machining mechanism machines the outside of the pipe end into a convex screw and the inside of the pipe end into a concave screw are provided on the same rotor mechanism and the same chuck. The piping system is configured to execute flare machining and screw machining of the end of the pipe by exchanging the flare machining head and the screw machining head.

A motor drives an output spindle driven by the motor, which in turn drives a radial cam. A wedge is movable by the radial cam in a reciprocating motion along the axis, causing the wedge to move between a first position where the jaws are in the closed position and a second position where the jaws are in the expanded position. A rotating ring is mounted on the wedge and connected to the jaws. The rotating ring is driven by the output spindle for rotating the jaws about the axis.
