ARRANGEMENT FOR WORKING A TUBE END
20180304446 · 2018-10-25 ·

An arrangement for working a tube end includes: an operating cylinder with a piston displaceable along an longitudinal axis; and a tube mounting, a tool holder being provided at an end of the piston facing the tube mounting. The operating cylinder is provided as a tandem cylinder. At least two cylinder stages are offset along the longitudinal axis. The piston includes connected piston segments, each piston segment being allocated to a cylinder stage.

PIPE EXPANDING PUNCH
20180257124 · 2018-09-13 ·

Disclosed is a pipe expanding punch for a drill, which is configured to expand a pipe by hitting the pipe by an anchor drill or a rechargeable drill. The pipe expanding punch includes: an expanding mandrel provided with at least one portion (hereinafter referred to as an expanding part) having an outer diameter larger than an inner diameter of a pipe to be expanded; and a holder formed integrally with the expanding mandrel and fixedly coupled to a drill such that the pipe is expanded using the drill, wherein the outer diameter of an introduction part of an end portion of the expanding mandrel is smaller than the inner diameter of the pipe, a first tapered step is provided between the introduction part and the expanding part, and at least one polished flat surface is formed by polishing the first tapered step.

MOLD TOOL
20180126438 · 2018-05-10 ·

A mold tool generally includes a base, a die assembly, a tightening element, a threaded element, and at least one shaping cap. The base defines a cutout, a first threaded hole opposite to the cutout, and a second threaded hole. The die assembly, composed of a first module and a second module, can be inserted into a receiving space of the base. The tightening element can be screwed into the second threaded hole of the base to fix the die assembly in place. The threaded element can be screwed into the first threaded hole of the base. The shaping cap can be fitted at one end of the threaded element. The die assembly defines channels of various diameters each for holding a tube of a specific diameter. The shaping cap can urge one end of a tube held in the die assembly to form a specific type of flare.

PIPE END FORMING METHODS AND PIPE CLAMP

Methods for forming a pipe end for a pipe having an inner surface lined with a liner are provided, wherein the pipe is cut at an axial location to provide a first end having an initial inner diameter defined by an inner surface of the pipe; and a length of the pipe is expanded from the first end to form an upset, bell end where an inner diameter of the upset, bell end is larger than the initial diameter, thereby defining an annulus between the inner surface of the pipe and the liner. A clamp for limiting a pipe's movement during various operations is also provided.
