A method for manufacturing a roll-bond heat exchanger has steps of: (1) A preparing step: preparing an in-process roll-bond plate that has a main plate with a bulged structure, and a degassing portion with a tube; (2) A degassing step: removing air from the bulged structure through the tube; (3) A filling step: filling refrigerant into the bulged structure; (4) A pressing step: pressing the bulged structure flat to form a pressed portion; (5) A cutting step: cutting the degassing portion to form a cut portion on the main plate; and (6) A sealing step: welding the cut portion. The main plate and the degassing portion are integrally formed as a single part and the degassing portion is able to be directly connected with the vacuum filling machine. Accordingly, processing steps and manpower for manufacturing the roll-bond heat exchanger are reduced.

The present application provides a heat-exchanging component, a method for manufacturing the heat-exchanging component, a system of manufacturing the heat-exchanging component, a battery and an electricity-consuming apparatus. The heat-exchanging component provided by the embodiments of the present application includes a first plate body and two second plate bodies. The first plate body includes a first main body, a first convex portion and a second convex portion, and the first convex portion and the second convex portion protrude from a surface of the first main body away from the accommodating space; in a thickness direction of the first main body, a size of the first convex portion protruding from the first main body is smaller than a size of the second convex portion protruding from the first main body; the first flow passage is formed inside the first convex portion.

A modular system for heat exchange between fluids includes two end plates. At least one end plate is configured with inlets and outlets for fluids. The modular system includes a number of heat exchanger elements and a number of guiding elements. Each heat exchanger element includes a folded sheet material including a plurality of slits extending in a longitudinal direction of the folded sheet material, which longitudinal extending slits form the fluids flow paths. The folded sheet material is cast in one piece in an outer casing. A central opening of the outer casing covers an outer circumference of the folded sheet material, exposing a front side and a back side of the folded sheet material where two through holes, forming the inlets and outlets for each fluid, are provided on opposite sides of the central opening of the outer casing. Each guiding element includes two inlets and two outlets for fluids, and a bead or edge, provided on one side, forming an enclosure around the inlet and outlet for a first fluid, and a bead or edge on an opposite side, forming an enclosure around the inlet and outlet for a second fluid. Heat exchanger elements and guiding elements are arranged successively following each other. The heat exchanger elements are arranged that two adjacent heat exchanger elements on sides facing each other carry the same fluid.

At least one cold core plate is formed defining external features of the heat exchanger plate and at least one second set of interlocking features. A core assembly is assembled wherein each hot core plate is directly interlocked to the at least one cold core plate. A wax pattern is formed with the core assembly. An external shell is formed over the wax pattern. The wax pattern is removed to form a space between the core assembly and the external shell. The space is filled with a molten material and cures the molten material. The external shell is removed. The core assembly is removed. A core assembly for a cast heat exchanger is also disclosed.
