HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger includes: refrigerant channels that extend in a first direction, are disposed along a second direction intersecting with the first direction, and are disposed along a third direction intersecting with the first direction and the second direction; and heat transfer tubes defining the refrigerant channels. One or both of a size of an outer edge and a size of an inner edge of the heat transfer tubes are different between a first position and a second position in the first direction. Outer surfaces of the heat transfer tubes each include a protrusion that protrudes in a direction intersecting with the first direction, and is in contact with an outer surface of one of the heat transfer tubes adjacent thereto in the second direction. The protrusion includes a concave portion extending along the third direction.
HEAT EXCHANGER
A heat exchanger includes: refrigerant channels that extend in a first direction, are disposed along a second direction intersecting with the first direction, and are disposed along a third direction intersecting with the first direction and the second direction; and heat transfer tubes defining the refrigerant channels. One or both of a size of an outer edge and a size of an inner edge of the heat transfer tubes are different between a first position and a second position in the first direction. Outer surfaces of the heat transfer tubes each include a protrusion that protrudes in a direction intersecting with the first direction, and is in contact with an outer surface of one of the heat transfer tubes adjacent thereto in the second direction. The protrusion includes a concave portion extending along the third direction.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A FLAT TUBE
A method for producing a flat tube for a heat exchanger, in particular for a motor vehicle, having a first wall, a second wall opposite to the first wall, having a third wall connecting the first and second wall, having a fourth wall connecting the second and first wall, wherein the first and second wall are longer than the third and fourth wall, having an interior for a medium to flow through, wherein a turbulence insert is arranged in the interior, wherein the method comprises at least the following process steps: —providing a plate material —forming the plate material into an intermediate tube in such a way that the plate material is crowned in at least two sections and the sections at least partially form the first and second wall of the flat tube and the intermediate tube forms an opening in the area one of the two third or fourth walls —providing and inserting a turbulence insert into the interior —closing the opening by means of a welding method.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A FLAT TUBE
A method for producing a flat tube for a heat exchanger, in particular for a motor vehicle, having a first wall, a second wall opposite to the first wall, having a third wall connecting the first and second wall, having a fourth wall connecting the second and first wall, wherein the first and second wall are longer than the third and fourth wall, having an interior for a medium to flow through, wherein a turbulence insert is arranged in the interior, wherein the method comprises at least the following process steps: —providing a plate material —forming the plate material into an intermediate tube in such a way that the plate material is crowned in at least two sections and the sections at least partially form the first and second wall of the flat tube and the intermediate tube forms an opening in the area one of the two third or fourth walls —providing and inserting a turbulence insert into the interior —closing the opening by means of a welding method.
HEAT TRANSFER BETWEEN TRACER AND PIPE
A heat transfer element includes curved mounting surfaces configured to mate with an outer surface of a pipe for attachment thereto; and a channel configured to receive a tracer therein. The heat transfer element is configured to effect conductive heat transfer from the tracer to the pipe, or to process flowing through the pipe, when attached with heat transfer cement (HTC) to both the pipe and the tracer. A system includes a pipe and a tracer; HTC; and a heat transfer element having curved mounting surfaces configured to mate with an outer surface of the pipe and attached thereto via the HTC, and a channel in which the tracer is received and secured via HTC. The heat transfer element is configured to effect conductive heat transfer from the tracer to the pipe, or to process flowing through the pipe, when attached with HTC to both the pipe and the tracer.

Thin heat pipe structure and manufacturing method thereof
A thin heat pipe structure and a manufacturing method thereof. The thin heat pipe structure includes a tubular body and a mesh body. The tubular body has a chamber and a working fluid. At least one first channel and at least one second channel are formed on an inner wall face of the chamber. The first and second channels extend to intersect each other. The mesh body is attached to the inner wall face of the chamber. The thin heat pipe structure is able to transfer heat in both axial direction and radial direction. By means of the manufacturing method, the heat pipe can be slimmed and the ratio of good products can be greatly increased.

A thin heat pipe structure and a manufacturing method thereof. The thin heat pipe structure includes a tubular body and a mesh body. The tubular body has a chamber and a working fluid. At least one first channel and at least one second channel are formed on an inner wall face of the chamber. The first and second channels extend to intersect each other. The mesh body is attached to the inner wall face of the chamber. The thin heat pipe structure is able to transfer heat in both axial direction and radial direction. By means of the manufacturing method, the heat pipe can be slimmed and the ratio of good products can be greatly increased.
Double pipe type heat exchanger and method for manufacturing the same
A double pipe type heat exchanger includes an inner pipe having a first flow path defined therein and an outer pipe arranged around the inner pipe to define a second flow path between the inner pipe and the outer pipe. The inner pipe includes a spiral groove formed on an outer circumferential surface of the inner pipe to extend along a longitudinal direction of the inner pipe. The outer pipe includes a reduced diameter portion protruding inwardly so that the inner surface of the outer pipe is intermittently contacted with the outer circumferential surface of the inner pipe.
