ORAL FLUIDS COLLECTION DEVICE AND METHOD
An oral fluids sample collection method and apparatus includes a shield having a first face and a second face; an elastomeric nipple having an outer surface and defining a nipple interior extending from the first face of the shield; and a reservoir component extending from the second face of the shield comprising a reservoir having a reservoir interior. These elements are interconnected by a plurality of fluid conduit/valve combinations, including a first combination permitting flow from the nipple interior to an atmospheric vent port disposed on an exterior surface of the oral fluids collection device; a second combination permitting flow from the reservoir interior to the nipple interior; and a third combination permitting flow from a collection port disposed on the outer surface of the nipple to an exit port in the reservoir interior.
PACIFIER DEVICES
Implementations of the present disclosure describe a pacifier device having a base portion, a nipple portion, and an attachment portion. The nipple portion is coupled to and protruding from the base portion in a first direction. The attachment portion is coupled to and protruding from the base portion in a second direction that is generally opposite to the first direction. The attachment portion is configured to rotate with the pacifier device to aid in connecting the pacifier device to a hub. The attachment portion may be inserted into a slot on an outer surface of a body to form a pacifier system.
Teething pacifier ring
The binky rings is the only product of its kind that combines teething beads and pacifiers into one multi-functional product and can be conveniently clipped onto any and all items and surfaces. This unprecedented product is uniquely designed to be large enough to be hard to lose, and small enough to fit in any purse, diaper bag, and even a pocket for transport and quick access. Furthermore, the durable lobster clasps will allow for the option to turn the binky rings into a traditional binky clip, per consumer preference.
Pacifier with Downloadable Voice and Music and Monitoring Capabilities
This device will be a nipple that will soothe a child while providing soft noise for the child as well as providing perhaps educational material at the request of the parent. The sound itself can be emitted through a speaker and can be done wirelessly through a variety of wireless means. Alternatively, a chip may also be used to store various sounds that can be changed at the request of the user either remotely or locally. Because the parent will want to know when the child falls asleep, the noise from the device will automatically shut off once the child has stopped sucking on the pacifier.
PACIFIER COVER AND TEETHER
A pacifier cover system, a pacifier cover, a teether, and a pacifier cover and teether device capable of being attached to a pacifier are disclosed herein. The pacifier cover can attach to a pacifier handle to add a decorative flare to the pacifier, to increase the size of the pacifier such that the pacifier is easier to find when lost or when a child drops the pacifier, and to create a larger area to grip by both the parents and child. The pacifier cover can also include raised bumps or protrusions for teething and to assist in gripping the device. The pacifier cover includes a connecting mechanism having a connector ring with an outer sidewall connected to a back surface of the pacifier cover, an upper surface connected to the outer sidewall, an inner surface connected to the upper surface, and a curved portion with a radius of curvature interconnected to the inner surface and forming a lip. The connector ring further having a cavity formed by a cavity wall extending downward from the curved portion, the cavity at least partly surrounded by the connector ring, where the cavity receives a portion of the pacifier handle when the pacifier cover is connected to the pacifier.
Lateral MOSFET with buried drain extension layer
An integrated circuit containing an extended drain MOS transistor which has a drift layer, an upper RESURF layer over and contacting an upper surface of the drift layer, and a buried drain extension below the drift layer which is electrically connected to the drift layer at the drain end and separated from the drift layer at the channel end. A lower RESURF layer may be formed between the drift layer and the buried drain extension at the channel end. Any of the upper RESURF layer, the drift layer, the lower RESURF layer and the buried drain extension may have a graded doping density from the drain end to the channel end. A process of forming an integrated circuit containing an extended drain MOS transistor which has the drift layer, the upper RESURF layer, and the buried drain extension.
AUTOMATIC FEEDING APPARATUS
An automatic feeding apparatus includes a bottle for holding liquid, a tube connected to the bottle, and a teat connected to the tube. A characterizing feature of the system is that the bottle has an air-intake mechanism adapted to release the liquid within the bottle through the tube to the teat.
INFANT DOSAGE DISPENSER
An infant dosage dispenser for providing a safe one-piece dispensing vehicle in an infant pacifier nipple configuration. The dispenser has a nipple with a shaft and base formed of medical grade molded silicone synthetic resin forming a fluid retention chamber with contoured annular sidewall and integral interconnecting bottom. An access opening is formed for selective operation in the bottom of the base by deflection of a transverse self-sealing access slit there within.
Mask for administration of inhaled medication
A breathing mask for use in administering inhalable medications to a patient in need of an inhaled drug is provided. The mask disclosed herein is particularly useful for use with very young children. The mask is made from a flexible molded plastic silicone or elastomeric material, and has an anthropometrically/anatomically/ergonomically contoured shape to provide a good seal, a comfortable fit, and minimal dead space within the mask. The airway is aligned with nose. There may be an orifice for use with a soother device to calm a child using the mask. Also provided is a visual flow indicator to provide an indication of the quality of the seal of the mask on the face.
