The present invention is disclosing a secure medication dispenser. Secure medication dispenser comprises a housing. Housing comprise a timer configured to set time to release a specified dosage of each of a plurality of medications. Housing further comprises an environment control system configured to control one or more physical environmental characteristic for said plurality of medications inside said housing to preserve corresponding potencies. Housing further comprises a plurality of authorization mechanisms configured to lock and seal said plurality of medications inside said housing. Housing further comprises an electronic dispensing system configured to dispense, at a time, a single medication from corresponding plurality of medications to a user upon receiving an ejection command and successful authorization of said user by the plurality of authorization mechanisms.

An apparatus includes, in one example, a tote configured to maintain a sterilized environment for carrying at least item selected from biological specimens, healthcare-related items, healthcare supplies, etc., an identifier coupled to the tote for tracking the tote, and a sensing module for capturing environmental data related to predetermined risks associated with environmental conditions to which the at least one healthcare-related item is subjected within the tote. A method includes tracking a tote configured to maintain a sterilized environment for carrying at least one healthcare-related item selected from healthcare-related items and healthcare supplies, determining whether the at least one healthcare-related item presents one or more predetermined health-related risks based on environmental data captured for an interior portion of the tote, and communicating a predetermined risk mitigation action in response to determining that at least one healthcare-related item presents the predetermined health-related risks. A system may implement the method.

A case includes a pocket for hermitically storing medical device(s) and medicine. The case may include a manual or motorized pump that can generate vacuum pressure within the pocket to thermally insulate the pocket from the atmosphere to minimize temperature fluctuations within the pocket. The case may also include a cooling and/or heating system to control the temperature within the pocket within a desired range to prolonging the potency and the life expectancy of the drug, such as epinephrine, stored within the pocket. A storage unit and method for providing heat transfer are disclosed. The storage unit is a storage bag and webs that are both made from the same film material. The storage bag has a top and a bottom surface having interior and exterior surfaces. The interior surface of both the top and bottom surface are connected by the webs. The webs will form channels through which a heat transfer medium can flow. The storage unit can contain bio-pharmaceutical products as well as other medical fluids that need to have heat transferred into or out of.

The baby bottle with mixer is an infant feeding bottle with an integral, controllable internal mixer. The baby bottle with a mixer includes a conventional bottle having an open upper end and a closed lower end, and a conventional cap for releasably covering and sealing the open upper end of the bottle. An internal wall is mounted within the bottle such that a fluid-tight chamber is defined between a lower surface of the internal wall and the closed lower end of the bottle. An agitator is rotatably mounted on an upper surface of the internal wall, and the agitator is selectively driven by a motor, which is housed within the fluid-tight chamber. A speaker is mounted on the closed lower end of the bottle for playing music, soothing sounds or the like while the baby is being fed. A controller is in communication with the speaker and the motor.

A neonatal enteral feeding system for delivering neonate fluid is disclosed. The system includes a cooling unit for cooling the breast milk before, during and after a feeding cycle to mitigate unwanted bacterial growth and reduction of fat content in the breast milk. The system also includes a warming unit for heating the cold breast milk to a temperature above room temperature (preferably, standard body temperature) so that the neonate can focus his or her energy on healing, growth and digestion instead of heat generation. Additionally, the system has a peristaltic pump which draws the breast milk from a bottom side of the container and the container is vented so as to be capable of delivering all of the breast milk in the container to the neonate.
