In a packaging for pharmaceutical products, comprising a primary packaging for receiving a dose or several doses of a pharmaceutical product, and a secondary packaging designed as a cardboard box, in which the primary packaging is received, the primary packaging is arranged in an insulation shell having a latent heat storage material and the insulation shell is held in the secondary packaging at a distance on all sides to form an insulation gap.

In one aspect, food transport systems are described herein. In some embodiments, such a system comprises an interior compartment defined by a floor, one or more side walls, and optionally a lid. The lid has open and closed configurations. The lid, or a bottom surface thereof, is in facing opposition to the floor when the lid is in the closed configuration. The side walls comprise fold lines or seams substantially parallel to the floor. Further, the side walls have reduced thickness or rigidity or self-supporting ability at the fold lines. The interior compartment has an extended configuration and a folded configuration. When the interior compartment is in the extended configuration, the side walls are substantially orthogonal to the floor. When the interior compartment is in the folded configuration, the side walls are folded or collapsed onto themselves along the fold lines, in a direction orthogonal to the floor.

In one aspect, a food delivery temperature charging system, temperature charging cradle systems and food transportation system are described herein. In some embodiments, the food delivery temperature charging system contains a temperature charging cradle system including a base unit including a first temperature adjustment unit generating hot or cold air, a backing affixed to the base unit, and a channel duct affixed to the backing, wherein the first temperature adjustment unit is connected to the channel duct so that the channel duct permits free flow of the first temperature medium to a charging station. The food delivery temperature charging system further includes a charging station containing a horizontal shelf for holding a food storage system including a shelf temperature medium portal, which is connected to a channel duct so that the first temperature medium is conveyed from the fully enclosed channel duct to the temperature medium portal.

A supple carrier for carrying a container of medically useful solution or suspension. The supple carrier includes a first monitoring window providing a first visualization perspective of the container contained by the envelope and one or more adjustable pressurizers. The supple carrier can delay the temperature change of the medically useful solution or suspension carried by the carrier.

A portable container for keeping medicine in a temperature controlled environment by means of an insulating layer of vacuum in the walls and cap of the container. The container has a cap or closure that is not only vacuum insulated but is designed to be very easily removed in an emergency. Inside the container is foam cushioning that serves as a crumple zone to protect the medicine in the event the container is dropped or otherwise sustains an impact. The container also contains a thermometer which can be used to determine that the medicine has not been subjected to any extreme temperatures outside the range of tolerance for the medicine. Inside the walls of the container where there is insulating vacuum, there is structure to keep the container from deforming.

In some embodiments, a medicinal carrier device includes: one or more sections of thermal insulation positioned to form an internal space with an adjacent first side region and an adjacent second side region; a first panel including a first phase change material positioned within the first side region of the internal space, the first side region of a size and shape to firmly contain an integral number of portable cold packs in thermal contact with the first panel; and a second panel including a second phase change material positioned within the second side region of the internal space, the second side region of a size and shape to firmly contain an integral number of portable cold packs in thermal contact with the second panel.

An apparatus for heating beverages is disclosed. The apparatus includes a base and a container for holding liquids. The base has a heater plate that is heated by one or more heater elements attached to the heater plate. A power source in the base provides electricity to the heater elements. The base is removably attachable to the container. The container has an inner cup that sits inside a chassis. The inner cup is made of metal and has an open top for receiving liquid, a circumferential wall, and a closed bottom. The chassis has an open top for receiving a liquid, a circumferential wall, and an open bottom. When the container is attached to the base, the closed bottom of the inner cup is configured to contact the heater plate and receive heat from the heater plate.

A cold and/or hot therapy device that utilizes insulation to maintain its temperature.

A thermally insulating material comprising at least three layers, wherein the first layer comprises a metalized material capable of reflecting thermal radiation, wherein the second layer comprises a foam, an ultra-low thermally conductive material, a phase change material, or a combination thereof, and wherein the third layer comprises a woven or non-woven material. In aspects, the metalized layer reflects thermal radiation away from a covered electronic component or device.

Protective sleeves for portable electronic devices or thermally sensitive pharmaceuticals are provided. More particularly, embodiments relate to a protective sleeve that is capable of protecting a portable electronic device or a thermally sensitive pharmaceutical enclosed within from multiple environmental effects, including heat, cold, water, impact forces from being dropped, and germs and bacteria. In embodiments, provided is a protective sleeve comprising: an outer layer of material with a reflective surface; and an inner layer of material with a protective surface that can include an antimicrobial agent; wherein the outer layer of material and the inner layer of material are layered together and configured to receive a portable electronic device or thermally sensitive pharmaceutical. The protective sleeve can comprise a transparent window capable of communicating a human touch to an electronic device. The protective sleeve can comprise a temperature influencing bladder. The protective sleeve can be releasably attachable to a garment to be worn by a wearer. A thermal masking material and products thereof which can be used in a variety of applications where reduced visibility and heat detection is desired such as military, law enforcement, and hunting are also described.
