SWIVEL ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM FOR FASTENER PULLING HEADS
An adjustment system for a fastener pulling head includes a swivel adapter, an adjustment member, and a retention member. The fastener pulling head includes a frame, a jaw, and a drawbolt body, the adjustment system. The swivel adapter is configured to engage with a proximal end portion of the drawbolt body. The swivel adapter defines an internal bore. The adjustment member is disposed within the internal bore and configured to engage the drawbolt body. The retention member is configured to engage and secure the swivel adapter at a location within the drawbolt body. When the retention member is disengaged from the swivel adapter, the pulling head can be rotated to cause the frame to move relative to the drawbolt body to adjust a gripping force of the jaw.
Swivel adjustment system for fastener pulling heads
An adjustment system for a fastener pulling head is provided that includes a swivel adapter configured for engagement with a proximal end portion of a drawbolt body of the pulling head, the swivel adapter defining an internal bore. A cap screw is disposed within the internal bore of the swivel adapter and configured to threadably engage the drawbolt body, and a set screw is configured to engage and secure the swivel adapter within the drawbolt body. The set screw is tightened in order to install or remove the fastener pulling head from a power tool. Once installed on the power tool, the set screw is disengaged from the swivel adapter, the pulling head can be rotated, which causes the frame to move relative to the drawbolt body within the pulling head to adjust a jaw gripping force.
Ergonomic bucking bar
An ergonomic bucking bar is disclosed herein. The ergonomic bucking bar includes a bar body having a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end includes a plurality of apertures formed therein for reducing weight of the bar body at the proximal end. The ergonomic bucking bar includes a compliant hand grip positioned over the proximal end of the bar body for reducing vibrations transmitted through the bar body during a riveting operation using the bucking bar. Optionally, the distal end includes at least one aperture formed therein for receiving an insert to increase the weight of the bar body at the distal end.
ONE-HAND HANDLED RIVETER
The present invention discloses a one-hand handled riveter, which includes a housing with a left handle on the bottom, and a right handle. The mentioned left handle and right handle are all covered by a handle cover. The mentioned housing is installed with a rivet head and the rivet head is equipped with a pull rod on the rear end. The right handle is connected to the pull rob by the top end. Both sides of the top end of the right handle, are equipped with a support arm. The support arms are connected with the pull rod through a positioning shaft by the top end, and the two support arms are connected to a connecting rod through a pin shaft by the bottom end. And a connecting shaft is arranged to the end of the two connecting rod far away from the support arm. Two L-shaped connecting pieces are respectively connected to two ends of the connecting shaft. A connecting hole is arranged to the front and rear ends of the L-shaped connecting piece, and the connecting shaft passes one of the holes. And the rear end of the L-shaped connecting piece is connected to the fixing seat on the rear end of the pull rod by screw connection. The invention can achieve the working mode for screw riveter and nut riveter by selecting the installation position of the connecting hole on the L-shaped connecting piece.
GECKO GUN
The present invention discloses a gecko gun, which includes a housing with a left handle on the bottom, and a right handle. The mentioned left handle and right handle are all covered by a handle housing. The mentioned cover housing is installed with a U-shaped seat at the top end. The top end of the right handle is rotated with the top end of the housing through a spindle. The top end of the right handle is installed with a link mechanism, which is covered by the mentioned housing and fixed to the housing via screws. The link mechanism includes a first linkage assembly linked to the top end of the right handle and a second linkage assembly connected to the first linkage assembly, and the second linkage assembly is used to drive the U-shaped seat to shift forward and backward. Thereby the designed gecko gun will help achieve the effect of energy saving.
RIVETING DEVICE FOR PRECISION ASSEMBLY
A riveting device for mutual assembly of two parts each including a bore, where the device includes a non-deformable external rivet having a tubular body suitable for being inserted into said bores and provided on one of the longitudinal ends thereof with a lip, and an internal rivet having a solid deformable cylindrical body and issuing substantially perpendicular from a flange, said tubular body having an external diameter slightly less than the diameter of said bores and a length D between the rear face of the lip thereof and the opposite end thereof at most equal to the sum of the thicknesses of the parts, said cylindrical body having an external homothetic transverse cross-section slightly less than the internal transverse cross-section of the tubular body, and a length slightly greater than that of the tubular body.
Hand riveter
The present invention discloses a hand riveter and relates to the field of hand-operated tools, and the hand riveter comprises a first handle, a second handle and a clamping and pulling mechanism, wherein the second handle is capable of rotating around a pivoting shaft with respect to the first handle; the second handle is separated into a force applying end and a warping end by the pivoting shaft, and the warping end and the clamping and pulling mechanism are connected via a connecting shaft; when the force applying end of the second handle is rotated and opened with respect to the first handle, the warping end of the second handle drives the clamping and pulling mechanism to move in a rivet-driving direction; and when the force applying end of the second handle is rotated and closed with respect to the first handle, the warping end of the second handle drives the clamping and pulling mechanism to move in a rivet-pulling direction. According to rational arrangements of the present invention, the hand riveter is labor-saving and is comfortable to hold during pull riveting.
Multi-purpose and simple riveting tool
A multi-purpose and simple riveting tool comprises a male member, a female member and at least one rotating device, wherein the male member comprises a fixing part and a riveting part; the fixing part comprises an accommodating groove with a threaded part, and the female member comprises an inner cavity with a depth; the rotating device comprises a rotating shaft, at least a part of which has a threaded part; the male member penetrates through the inner cavity, and the inner cavity is configured to only allow the male member to move axially in the inner cavity; and the rotating shaft is screwed into the accommodating groove, so that the rotating device drives the axial movement of the male member in the inner cavity when rotating around at least one rotation axis.
System and method for drilling holes and installing fasteners in vehicle structures
A system and method for drilling a hole in a vehicle structure and installing a fastener in the hole. A drill plate having openings and associated machine-readable elements is positioned on the structure. A drill gun is positioned in a particular opening and reads hole information from the associated element, and a computer determines whether the drill gun is properly set-up to drill the hole. A fastener insertion gun is positioned in the particular opening and reads fastener information from the element, and the computer determines whether the hole has been drilled and, if so, whether the fastener insertion gun is properly set-up to insert the fastener.
