RIVET EXTRACTOR
A tool for removing a rivet with a hole and a head from a first article that is attached to a second article includes a frame, an anvil, a push pin, and a driver. The frame includes first and second arms. The anvil includes a tube with an opening and is disposed on the first arm of the frame. The push pin is slidably engaged with the second arm of the frame and is aligned coaxially with the anvil. The push pin is configured to engage with a hole in a tail end of the rivet in order to remove the rivet from the first article. The driver is attached to the frame and is configured to move the push pin in a linear direction towards the anvil in order to push the rivet out of engagement with the first article and such that the first and second articles become unattached.

Planetary Repair Tool
A tool for removing and replacing a piston from a drum of an automotive transmission has a generally circular base including a first set of openings arranged, when the tool is placed on a drum of an automotive transmission, to be in alignment with rivets attaching the piston to the drum. A cutting element is inserted into each of the first set of openings for cutting the rivets to remove the piston from the drum for repair or replacement. A second set of openings in the base are offset from the first set of openings when the tool is placed on the drum. A drilling element is inserted into each of the second set of openings for drilling holes in the drum which are offset from the first set of openings for readily removably mounting the repaired or replacement piston to the drum at positions on the drum offset from the positions at which the rivets have been cut. A method for removing and replacing the piston from the drum is provided by use of the tool.
Vacuum Dust Extraction Apparatus for a Percussive Air Tool
A vacuum dust extraction system includes a snorkel coupled to the implement end of an air tool, a dust bellows surrounding the air tool's implement and fastened to the outboard end of the snorkel, a pneumatically powered water filtration industrial vacuum, and a suction hose coupling the snorkel to the vacuum. The apparatus features an improved coupling arrangement for attaching the snorkel to the barrel of the tool driver that permits the apparatus to work with a wide assortment of air tools, and an improved water filtration apparatus housed in the vacuum.
Fastener removal tool and method of use
A tool for removing a swaged fastener from a piece of equipment tubing includes, in combination with a slide hammer component, a multiple segment fastener that can be manually rotated between respective stations. The segments, around a central base, include: (a) a large hollow collar station for hammer-sliding back an innermost locking nut of the swaged fastener; (b) a large rounded-slit station for reverse-hammer sliding off an outermost ferrule of the swaged fastener; (c) an elongated tube station sized to fit over and abut a front end of the equipment tubing for hammer-sliding to push back its innermost ferrule; and (d) a small, rounded-slit station for positioning behind the pushed back innermost ferrule and reverse hammer-slide it off of the equipment tubing. A related method is also disclosed.
Fastener removal tool and method of using same
A tool for removing a fastener head from a fastener includes a body that includes an alignment surface configured to couple substantially flush against a structural surface proximate the fastener head. A blade coupled to the body includes a tip configured to sever the fastener head from the fastener as the blade is moved in a first direction generally parallel to the alignment surface from a first blade position to a second blade position. The tool also includes a force transfer member coupled to the body for movement parallel to a longitudinal axis of the force transfer member. The longitudinal axis is oriented at an acute angle with respect to the first direction. The force transfer member is configured to move the blade from the first blade position to the second blade position in response to an impulse received by the force transfer member.
