FLUID TRANSFER STATION IN A ROBOTIC PHARMACEUTICAL PREPARATION SYSTEM

A robotic system and method are provided for transfer of fluid between a container accessible via a container-septum and a fluid transfer assembly accessible via a fluid transfer connector septum. The robotic system includes a controller and a manipulator controllable by the controller to manipulate at least one of the container and the fluid transfer assembly. The controller is configured to operate the manipulator to secure contact between the container-septum and the fluid transfer connector septum during at least a portion of the transfer of the fluid.

Infusion system and components thereof

Multi-medicament infusion systems prevent cross-channeling of medicaments. A system may include one or more of an infusion pump, medicament reservoirs, a multi-channel fluid conduit, and an infusion set. Medicament reservoirs and/or collars may be sized and shaped differently such that the medicament reservoirs can only be inserted into the system under selected configurations.

Systems and methods of dynamic biometric detection and response are provided for the purpose of establishing baseline health status while conveying real-time drug prescription usages and reactions from baseline data. The dynamic monitoring system may be embedded within a wristband, ring, vest, and/or waistband in wireless communication with a computing device or server. Each wearable device may employ interchangeable and embedded sensors to detect inertia movements; 360-imaging fall detections; and a variety of body-emitting vital signs. The system may include a processor operable to sense user location, motion, activity, and biomarkers for the purpose of detecting the user's behavior pattern, wherein an enhanced machine-learning algorithm is used to identify repetitive actions within the user's behavior pattern; and, based upon this pattern, the system is able to detect one or more anomalies for the purpose of generating an anomaly alert for third party notification and quantitative analysis at a server.

Infant feeding measurement device

A system for monitoring infant feeding habit includes a nipple having an embedded pressure sensing passage and pressure sensing opening. The pressure sensing opening is proximate the nipple feeding opening. The pressure sensing passage allows monitoring of change in pressure of infant sucks and swallows throughout feeding.

USAGE TRACKING SYSTEM

Embodiments are generally directed to systems and apparatuses for tracking usage of an item. For example, an apparatus may be provided for tracking use of a packetized item. The apparatus may include a microprocessor, a power source, and a structural layer to which the microprocessor and power source are coupled. The structural layer may include a container that is configured to hold various items. The container may also include an opening that allows access to the items. The apparatus may further include a cover layer that is configured to cover the opening of the container. The cover layer may include at least one bendable sensor placed over the opening of the container. The present disclosure enables apparatus and methods for tracking medications and/or product units via smart-packaging concepts. Embodiments include sensors that monitor the state of a blister-card package having an unpatterned lidding film by measuring the impedance of each dispensing region of the lidding film that defines a portion of a blister. In some embodiments, the impedance is measured via a plurality of contact points arranged on opposite sides of each dispensing region, where the contact points are resistively or capacitively coupled with the lidding film. In some embodiments, the impedance map of a measurement region on the blister card is derived via electrical impedance tomography or electrical resistance tomography, where the measurement region includes a plurality of dispensing regions.
