AUTOMATED MEDICINE SORTING AND MEDICINE DISPENSING SYSTEM
An automated medicine sorting and medicine dispensing system comprising: a medicine storage mechanism (110) for storing a plurality of types of medicine; a medicine picking up mechanism (120) for picking up medicines from said medicine storage mechanism (110); and a rotating base (130) comprising a housing chamber (134), a rotating pad that is set within said housing chamber (134) and an electrical motor (131) that drives said rotating pad to rotate, wherein said housing chamber (134) is in communication with a medicine discharging passage. The automated medicine sorting and medicine dispensing system not only can realize automated medicine sorting and medicine dispensing, but also has the advantages of small volume, full functions and better user experience. Moreover, a portable medicine box is also provided, which is easy for a user to carry.
Universal feed mechanism for automatic packager
An automatic packager including a cartridge and a cartridge mechanism is provided. The cartridge for the automatic packager includes a reservoir for storing a plurality of medications and a wheel including a bottom portion placed in the reservoir. The cartridge also includes a scooping member provided on the wheel to rotate with the wheel and singulate a medication from the reservoir. The cartridge mechanism for the automatic packager includes a platform configured to receive a medication from a cartridge and a camera system. The cartridge mechanism also includes an electronic processor coupled to the camera system configured to dispense the medication from the cartridge in response to determining that the expected medication is delivered to the platform and return the medication to the cartridge in response to determining that the expected medication is not delivered to the platform.
SMART PILL DISPENSER
The medication dispensing assembly includes a housing having an interior. A medication bottle is disposed in the interior with its cap assembly facing vertically downwardly. The cap assembly includes outer, middle, and inner pieces. The outer and inner pieces are fixed with one another, and the middle piece is fixed with the bottle. A drive unit is disposed in the interior of the housing and is configured to rotate the bottle and the middle piece of the cap assembly about a vertical axis. The three pieces of the cap assembly have respective medication openings, and rotating the bottle causes individual pills to travel first from the bottle into the inner piece, then into the middle piece, then around the vertical axis, and then outside of the cap assembly through the medication opening of the outer piece.
Medication Dispensing Arrangement without Scanning
A pharmacy tray for medications and medical items for patient treatment is placed onto a shelf that carries a grid of optical presence sensors. The location and identification of each item in the tray is recorded on a digital inventory for that tray. At the patient treatment site each item taken is recorded and the remaining inventory is updated without scanning the items.
Surgical instrument with battery compatibility verification functionality
A surgical instrument is disclosed including a housing assembly including a battery interface configured to releasably retain a battery, a radio-frequency identification scanner positioned at the battery interface, and a control circuit. The radio-frequency identification scanner is configured to receive information from the battery. The control circuit is configured to determine a compatibility of the battery with the surgical instrument based on the information received from the battery.
CONNECTED MEDICATION DISPENSING SYSTEM
A dispensing system comprising a main body, a carousel, and a shuttle. The carousel is configured to sequentially align each of a plurality of cartridges with a dispensing outlet of the dispensing system. The shuttle is configured to sequentially align each of a plurality of compartments of each cartridge with the dispensing outlet. The dispensing system is configured to dispense a dose only after a predetermined interval of time based on a prescription. In addition, the dispensing system is connected to a network to allow the prescriber to remotely modify the prescription. The dispensing system may additionally have a biometric scanner to verify the identity of a patient, an ID scanner to authorize a pharmacist to refill the dispensing system, and a plurality of tamper sensors to alert the prescriber or the pharmacist if a patient attempts to access the dispensing system without authorization.
Apparatus and method for dispensing medication
Disclosed is an invention for dispensing multiple medications to a patient over an extended period of days up to several times a day. The system includes a carousel with storage bins and a delivery bin on its periphery. A vacuum system and a vacuum probe with a vacuum cup at the end of the probe for grasping and holding by an induced vacuum a dosage of medication located in a storage bin and moving it to a dispending or delivery bin. The system includes a programmable computer to control the system and sequence the proper dispensing of the medication at the predesignated times.
SMART 1TOUCH
An apparatus and method of using a device for dispensing fluid comprising a flexible and collapsible container, a fluid dispenser pump connected to the flexible and collapsible fluid container configured to draw fluid from the flexible and collapsible fluid container into the fluid dispenser pump and to dispense fluid through a fluid delivery channel to an exit port upon actuation of the pump. The dispenser pump having an actuator comprising a dose delivery button, and a sensor located in the apparatus and configured to actuate the dispenser pump upon physical contact of the dose delivery button by a user.
Baby bottle sensor with content volume sensing and content deduction logic
A baby bottle sensor with content deduction logic is attachable to a baby bottle. The sensor uses programmed logic to deduce whether formula or some other fluid is being fed. Collected data is stored and reported to a paired Bluetooth device.
MEDICINE DISPENSING DEVICE
Provided is a medicine dispensing device having a container stocking portion) for stocking a plurality of medicine containers, a medicine supplying part for supplying solid medicines, container taking means for taking the container from the container stocking portion, a medicine filling part for filling the medicine container with the solid medicines supplied from the medicine supplying part and container checking means. The medicine checking means has posture keeping means for keeping a constant posture of the medicine container and a measuring member which can approach to and move away from the medicine container. The container checking means can check a type of the medicine container by holding the medicine container with keeping the constant posture by using the posture keeping means and allowing the measuring member to approach to the medicine container from a remote position and make contact with the medicine container.
