The pillbox includes a lid, a housing base, a camera secured to the pillbox to allow the camera to take pictures for the housing base, and a sound device secured to the housing base. The control system is in communicable connection with the pillbox and the information transfer system. The information transfer system is in communicable connection with the monitoring device. The camera can take pictures or videos and transfer this information to a monitoring device to check compliance. The system configuration and control is moved away from the pillbox and the configuration and control is given to a remote user with a monitoring device.
