Bridge-type ball screw and manufacturing method thereof
A method of manufacturing a bridge-type ball screw (1) with a bridge member (5) fit into a nut bridge window (6). The bridge member (5) has a linking groove (5a) with a rolling track that acts as a circulating path. After the bridge member (5) is fit into the nut bridge window (6), a cylindrical mandrel (8), with projections (9), is inserted into the nut (3). An upper die (10) restricts the upper surface of the bridge member (5) and is lowered while the nut (3) is held between the upper die (10) and the mandrel (8). A connection part is subject to plastic working by the projections (9) of the mandrel (8). The bridge member (5) is simultaneously deformed by the upper die (10) to secure the bridge member (5) into the nut bridge window (6).

CONDUIT SPACE RECOVERY SYSTEM
Space in a conduit having at least one cable therein which is surrounded by a duct is recovered by longitudinally cutting the duct and removing the duct from around the cable. The duct may be pulled out of the conduit and past a blade to affect the cutting, or a blade may be pulled through the conduit to cut the duct while still in the conduit.
CRIMPED CAPPED FASTENER
A capped fastener is provided with two outer flanges and a groove therebetween. The cap is crimped around the first outer flange without covering the second outer flange. The end of the cap is crimped in a groove between the first and second outer flanges. A crimping tool and method of crimping are also provided for crimping the end of a cap into a groove between two outer flanges.
SCREW-NUT BLANK FOR PRODUCING A SECURING NUT
A securing nut and a screw-nut blank for producing the securing nut are disclosed. The securing nut (20) has a shaped collar (8) on an end surface (3), in one piece with the nut body (1), and an inner end surface (11) running concentrically relative to an internally threaded bore (9) of the nut body (1). Nut (20) is spaced axially (A) from the internally threaded bore (9) and has a securing internal thread (22) offset relative to an internal thread (23) of the internally threaded bore (9). The screw-nut blank (10) has an axially running annular collar (2) to form the shaped collar (8), and has a contour which remains constant in the circumferential direction. In the axial direction (A), the annular collar (2) has a cross-sectional shape which increases as the distance from the end surface (3) increases, in particular a conical cross-sectional shape. The ratio of a thickness (S1) of the annular collar (2) in the transition portion (6) with respect to the end surface (3) to a thickness (S2) of the annular collar (2) at a free end (7), which is used to form the inner end surface (11), is between 0.45 and 0.75, preferably between 0.5 and 0.7.
Self-locking nipple for wheel spoke and method and apparatus for manufacturing same
Self-locking nipple for attaching wheel spoke to wheel part. The self-locking function of the nipple is created by deforming the nipple body in a rotationally symmetrical way and over a predetermined axial distance, such that such a narrowed part is created in the internal screw-thread of the nipple which is rotationally symmetric with respect to the longitudinal axis of the nipple and extends over only one to two windings of the internal screw-thread.
CLINCH NUT AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ONE SUCH NUT
Method for manufacturing a clinch nut, comprising: cold forging a steel body including a weight percentage of carbon comprised between 0.15% and 0.25% inclusive to form a workpiece including a pliable section designed to deform into a crimping bead and a connection section, applying a heat treatment to the workpiece, and tapping the connection section to form an internal thread.

Apparatus to produce self-piercing and clinch nut and method of producing self-piercing and clinch nut
An apparatus to produce a self-piercing and clinch nut includes a first forging die assembly, a second forging die assembly, a third forging die assembly, a transfer mechanism, and a controller. The first forging die assembly subjects a blank to first processing. The second forging die assembly is adjacent to the first forging die assembly, and subjects the blank, which has undergone the first processing in the first forging die assembly, to second processing. The third forging die assembly is adjacent to the second forging die assembly, and subjects the blank, which has undergone the second processing in the second forging die assembly, to third processing. The transfer mechanism transfers the blank between two adjacent forging die assemblies among the first to third forging die assemblies. The controller controls operations of the first to third forging die assemblies and the transfer mechanism.
NUT INTEGRATED WITH BRACKET AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A method of manufacturing a nut integrated with a bracket forms the nut formed integrally with the bracket or a slab base nut by using a plate material supplied between a punch and a die. The slab base nut includes a base plate and a boss extending from the base plate and including female-threads. The base plate and the boss are integrated into a single piece without welding trace.
