Systems and methods are disclosed for a numeric waiting bin for prescription fulfillment. A computing system may be used to receive bin configuration values corresponding to a plurality of physical bins for prescription storage. The bin configuration values may be used to assign serial identifiers to the plurality of bins. Prescriptions may be selectively assigned a bin serial identifier using a plurality of rules and the bin serial number may be used to locate the prescription when the prescription is requested, such as during pickup.

A medication adherence system and corresponding medication box for improving medication adherence. The system includes the medication box, which is transparent and has a machine-readable marker, such as a QR code, on or beneath the floor thereof. The marker is capable of being scanned and read through the transparent bottoms of individual chambers. Data embedded in the marker includes, but is not limited to, the user's medication plan, the date and time when the medication is to be ingested, and instructions for recording the date and time when the marker is scanned and read. The underlying software program/application processes this information and provides an indication as to the user's compliance with the medication plan.

MEDICATION TRACKING

A system and method is described for printing a label with an RFID tag. The system includes an RFID reader that queries a first RFID tag coupled to a first medicinal container that includes a medication. In response, the system receives a first unique identifier and uses the first unique identifier to determine a status of the medication, associate the first medicinal container with a medical provider and print a second label that includes a second RFID tag for a second medicinal container.

The device is a container comprising: a tray of removable dose units tagged with a unique identifier assigned to a patient. The tag may comprise a scannable barcode, and the scanner may be part of the device, or kit. The device further comprises computer components and wireless transmitters, and one or more electromagnetic sensors, e.g. positioned beneath the dose units, to detect when a dose is taken, and transmit the information to a remote server comprising a patient database record. When a dose is missed, an alert is sent to one or more third party electronic computing devices (e.g. patient's, doctor's, pharmacy, caregiver's, etc.).
