MEDICATION CHANGE SYSTEM AND METHODS
Method for generating user interface that indicates medication changes in medication starts with a processor detecting a medication change event. Processor retrieves medication information based on the medication change event including images of two medications. Processor generates color difference output using a color neural network, image of first medication and second medication. Color difference output comprises information on a difference in hue, saturation or color distribution. Processor generates medication appearance difference output using medication appearance neural network, image of first medication and second medication. Medication appearance difference output comprises information on a difference in shape, segmentation or form. Processor generates a differential record using the color difference output and medication appearance difference output. Processor causes medication change user interface to be displayed that comprises medication images and color and appearance descriptions of the medication which are displayed to emphasize differences identified in the differential record. Other embodiments are disclosed herein.
Enteral Feeding Extension Set Connector
A connector for coupling to a base of an indwelling device equipped with a circular hub having a radius, a top surface, a side surface, and a circumferential recess defined in the side surface. The connector has a resilient assembly including a plurality of release buttons extending from the resilient assembly and may include a conduit defining a fluid pathway through the connector. Each release button has a finger contact zone and a catch. The catch is configured to releasably engage the circumferential recess. The connector is coupled by positioning the connector on the circular hub and depressing the connector until the catches engage the circumferential recess such that the connector is configured to rotate completely about the circular hub. The connector is decoupled from the hub by pressing the release buttons to reversibly displace the respective catches radially to disengage from the circumferential recess.
A TIME-ORIENTED PILL DISPENSER
In one aspect, the present invention is directed to a time-oriented pill dispenser, comprising: a bulk pills container having an opening, and a corresponding lid; an impression of different time notations, dispersed on an external side of a wall of the container along a circumference thereof, in proximity to the lid; and a pointer in a form of a tab of the lid, or a mark on the lid, for pointing at one of the time notations of the impression in a closed state of the container; wherein securing the lid to the container enables placing the pointer to point at each of the notations; thereby on closing the container by the lid, enabling a user marking the current time as the last time of taking a pill from the container by positioning the pointer on the corresponding time notation in the impression.
Container time indicator with a device for inhibiting the removal of the cap
A time programmable container that includes a base for containing the object, a lid, a base, and a ring which is positioned intermediate the lid and the base. The ring is positionable in a select one of a plurality of positions on the base. The ring and the base contain time indicia such that each of the plurality of positions that the ring can be placed upon the base corresponds to a different of time indication. The base includes members to secure the ring in the select one position. The lid includes a cavity on the bottom surface of a lip which mates with a tab on the ring, such that when the ring is placed upon the base and the lid is threaded onto the base, the tab secures prevents the removal of the lid from the base without first removing the tab from the cavity.
Medicine-supplying device and medicine-counting device
This drug-supplying device is provided with: a rotator that discharges drugs towards the outer diameter by being rotated; a drug shape-specifying unit for specifying the shape of the drug; and a control unit that rotates the rotator at a rotational speed specified, on the basis of a speed table that correlates drug shape to rotator rotational speed, by the shape that has been specified by a drug-detecting unit.
INTELLIGENT MEDICATION DISPENSER
An intelligent medication dispenser provides automated dispensing of medication for personal use by a patient. The intelligent medication dispenser automatically detects and sorts refill medication and checks the accuracy of dispensed medication doses. The intelligent medication dispenser further enables direct communication between the patient and other stakeholders in the medical care process.

IMAGE ACQUISITION FOR MEDICAL DOSE PREPARATION SYSTEM
Use of improved image acquisition for a medical dose preparation system. The medical dose preparation system may include a work station for capturing medical dose preparation images (e.g., to document preparation of a mediation dose). The medical dose preparation image may be captured by a video data stream processor capable of performing an auto cropping technique on a video data stream received from an image device. Accordingly, memory resources may be more efficiently employed while maintaining high quality medical dose preparation images.
AUTOMATED PILL FULFILLMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
An automated pill order filling system includes a main conveyor and track running from a first end to a second end of the main conveyor. A plurality of pucks, each configured to hold a respective pill container, travel on the track. The system includes a first array of automatic pill dispensers, configured to dispense a first number of pills into a first designated pill container at a first fill rate. The system also includes a second array of automatic pill dispensers, disposed adjacent the first array of automatic pill dispensers, configured to dispense a second number of pills into a second designated pill container at a second fill rate that is lower than the first rate. The first and second arrays of automatic pill dispensers are configured to operate independently of one another.
Pill sorting container
An apparatus for sorting pills has a body defining a plurality of receptacles. A slide plate is positioned on the body. The slide plate defines a first plurality of openings. The slide plate is slidable relative to the body about and between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the first plurality of openings are offset from respective receptacles of the plurality of receptacles so that the slide plate blocks the plurality of receptacles. In the second position, the first plurality of openings are aligned with respective receptacles of the plurality of receptacles so that pills can pass through the first plurality of openings and into the receptacles. A retaining plate retains the slide plate against the body. The retaining plate defines a slot, and the slide plate has a tab that extends through the slot and permits articulation of the slide plate.
