The system includes a tibial component of a knee joint implant, a tibial insert configured to be positioned against the superior side of the platform of the tibial component, a first femoral component of a knee joint implant, and a second femoral component of a knee joint implant.
Methods and systems for providing gender specific pharmaceuticals
The present disclosure provides a system of gender specific pharmaceuticals. The system includes a first package of a pharmaceutical for use by a male and a second package of a pharmaceutical for use by a female. The first package includes at least one male dosage having a first dosage amount, an insert positioned in the first package, the insert including a recommended male dosage and a recommended female dosage that is different than the male dosage, and a male label coupled to the first package, the label including a male gender specifier. The female package includes at least one female dosage having a second dosage amount that is smaller than the first dosage amount, an insert positioned in the first package, the insert including a recommended male dosage and a recommended female dosage that is different than the male dosage, and a female label coupled to the second package, the female label including a female gender specifier, wherein the female gender specifier is different than the male gender specifier.
Adaptor for Coupling with a Medical Container
An adaptor for coupling with a vial having a collar closed by a septum, the septum having an outer surface directed towards the outside of the vial, the adaptor comprising: a gripping member for securing the adaptor to the vial, the gripping member being capable of being laterally mounted on the collar of the vial and a pierceable elastomeric piece having at least a part intended to be in contact with the outer surface of the septum when the adaptor is secured on the vial. Also, an assembly including such an adaptor and a vial.
METHODS, SYSTEMS AND APPARATUSES FOR MANAGEMENT AND STORAGE
The present invention relates to systems, methods, and apparatuses for the management, distribution, dispensing, and administration of consumer products, including over-the-counter and prescription medications through use of a product container labeling system and an optional integrated computer-based or online management system. In certain aspects, the invention relates to a product container comprising a hollow body, a child-resistant cap, and a specialized information label affixed to the hollow body.
OVERLAY FOR MEDICATION CARD
An overlay is provided for a medication card of the type having a plurality of pharmaceutical products arranged in at least one row. The overlay includes a planar body having a front surface, and a plurality of openings formed in the planar body, with locations of the plurality of openings substantially corresponding to locations of the plurality of products of the medication card. The overlay further includes instructions provided on the front surface of the body for ingesting the plurality of products of the medication card.
KNEE IMPLANT METHODS AND SYSTEMS
The disclosure includes a method for providing prosthetic implants for a total knee replacement procedure. This method includes receiving data representative of a knee joint of a patient and determining anatomical parameters from the received data. The method also includes creating a graphical model of the knee joint based on the determined anatomical parameters, and providing a femoral component of a knee joint implant based on at least one of the determined anatomical parameters and the graphical femoral portion. This method also includes providing at least one cutting instrument configured to facilitate removing a portion of the femur of the patient based on at least one of determined anatomical parameters and the graphical model.
Pill Bottle Labeling System
A pill bottle labeling system having a pill bottle, open top housing. The housing is used for holding a plurality of pill bottles with bottle caps. The system includes a plurality of bottle cap labels with an adhesive backing. The bottle cap labels having different drug names and vitamin supplement names printed thereon. The bottle cap labels are attached to a top of the bottle caps. The labels provide quick identification of a pill from a selected bottle. Also, the labeling system includes a time of day and night labels with an adhesive backing. The time of day and night labels are attached to a side of the pill bottles. The time of day and night labels provide for identifying a time of day or night when the pill is to be taken.
A TIME-ORIENTED PILL DISPENSER
In one aspect, the present invention is directed to a time-oriented pill dispenser, comprising: a bulk pills container having an opening, and a corresponding lid; an impression of different time notations, dispersed on an external side of a wall of the container along a circumference thereof, in proximity to the lid; and a pointer in a form of a tab of the lid, or a mark on the lid, for pointing at one of the time notations of the impression in a closed state of the container; wherein securing the lid to the container enables placing the pointer to point at each of the notations; thereby on closing the container by the lid, enabling a user marking the current time as the last time of taking a pill from the container by positioning the pointer on the corresponding time notation in the impression.
OBJECT DISPENSER HAVING A VARIABLE ORIFICE AND IMAGE IDENTIFICATION
A method and apparatus for dispensing objects from automated storage and retrieval systems such as medications is disclosed which may also include a singulator to assure singulation (retrieval of singular objects). The singulator may be an imaging system to confirm and/or identify the objects being dispensed and/or a variable orifice dynamically adjustable to a specific object or pill size, and through which only a single object or pill is allowed to pass. The system may further include a flexible probe so as to reduce the size of the system where the movement of the probe relative to or while retrieving objects is accomplished by advancing/retracting a flexible tube. The method and apparatus may further include an imaging system.
