The container includes a bottle having a cylindrical body having a length greater than its width. A cap is provided with an inclined spiral or helical land and stops to permit it to be affixed to the container. The cap is equipped with a snap fit ring or a fitting on its underside. A recording device is configured with a land or snap ring removably engageable with the snap fit ring on the underside of the cap. The cap has an aperture to accommodate a recording switch on the recording device. The cap is provided with a speaker switch aperture to permit the user to activate the message on the recording device to hear about the contents of the bottle.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DIGITALLY TRANSLATING NATURAL LANGUAGE PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION LABEL TO PROGRAMMATICALLY OPERABLE STRUCTURE FOR USE WITH SMART PILL CONTAINERS
A smart pill container and system integrating the same, combined with a method for digitally translating natural language prescription medication into a programmatically operable structure and form for use by the smart pill container system, where the digital translation includes the abstraction of a prescription frequency characteristic into a number of “slots” and the abstraction of a prescription temporary characteristic by creating an array of “as of” date and value pairs, allowing for the building of a patient's prescription schedule, where the smart pill container has a number of pill wells for storing different doses of medication, and where based on the prescription schedule, an opening in the pill container provides at least one user with access to the medication stored in a particular one of the pill wells at a given dosing time, and where a platform associated with the pill container provides instructions for dosing such medication and monitors use of the pill container for compliance with the prescribed medical regimen.
Systems and methods for dynamic biometric detection and response
Systems and methods of dynamic biometric detection and response are provided for the purpose of establishing baseline health status while conveying real-time drug prescription usages and reactions from baseline data. The dynamic monitoring system may be embedded within a wristband, ring, vest, and/or waistband in wireless communication with a computing device or server. Each wearable device may employ interchangeable and embedded sensors to detect inertia movements; 360-imaging fall detections; and a variety of body-emitting vital signs. The system may include a processor operable to sense user location, motion, activity, and biomarkers for the purpose of detecting the user's behavior pattern, wherein an enhanced machine-learning algorithm is used to identify repetitive actions within the user's behavior pattern; and, based upon this pattern, the system is able to detect one or more anomalies for the purpose of generating an anomaly alert for third party notification and quantitative analysis at a server.
USAGE TRACKING SYSTEM
Embodiments are generally directed to systems and apparatuses for tracking usage of an item. For example, an apparatus may be provided for tracking use of a packetized item. The apparatus may include a microprocessor, a power source, and a structural layer to which the microprocessor and power source are coupled. The structural layer may include a container that is configured to hold various items. The container may also include an opening that allows access to the items. The apparatus may further include a cover layer that is configured to cover the opening of the container. The cover layer may include at least one bendable sensor placed over the opening of the container. The microprocessor may be configured to determine, using detected movements in the bendable sensor, whether the container has been opened.
Arrangement and method for providing a formulation for parenteral nutrition
The invention relates to an arrangement and a method for preparing a formulation for parenteral nutrition. In more detail the invention relates to a mixing system for parenteral nutrition, comprising at least two containers, wherein the at least two containers form a modular system. The mixing system comprises a septum, which is pierceable by a spike or a needle and a hanger for attaching the mixing system to an infusion rack. A first container comprises a male connector and a second container comprises a female connector, which fit together. First and second container can be coupled together, thereby forming a channel, which enables the passage of liquid and the mixing of the ingredients of the containers.
OPENING DETECTION SHEET, PACKAGING MATERIAL, OPENING DETECTION DEVICE, RECORDING MEDIUM, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING OPENING DETECTION SHEET
The present invention realizes an inexpensive packaging material having an opening detection function by simplifying the configuration of an opening detection sheet. The present invention includes: a metal foil layer (12); a first resin layer (13) having an insulation property; and a second resin layer (15) stacked on at least a part of the first resin layer (13), wherein a circuit pattern (14) is printed on the first resin layer (13) with use of conductive ink containing carbon nanotubes.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUSES FOR MANAGING ADHERENCE TO A REGIMEN
Methods, systems and apparatuses, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, are provided for assisting users with adherence to a medication regimen. An attachable device includes a sensor module releasably attached to an adapter, which is in turn attached to a medication container using a connector. The sensor module can be removed from the adapter to change an included battery without removing the adapter from the medication container. The sensor module is in communication with a user device, such as a smart phone. A user can use an app on the user device to create a medicine regimen, or schedule, and send the schedule to the sensor module. The user can also set notification preferences on the user device to be sent to the sensor module. The sensor module includes audio and/or visual transducers that notify the user to take the medication at the scheduled times. The sensor module further includes one or more buttons that are pressed when a user opens the medication container. The button(s) are configured so the action of the user required to open the container also presses at least one button. The sensor module records the actions of the user, including when the medication container is opened, when a dose of the medication is missed, and when the user presses a mood indication button. The user actions can be transmitted to the user device, which can then transmit the recorded actions to a server. The sensor module may be configured to attempt communication with the user device on a periodic basis to conserve battery life.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTOMATED PROGRAMMABLE DISPENSING OF MEDICATION
In a medication dispensing system, pills of different medications are stored in different chambers of a pill bottle. An assembly of a non-moving disc having holes corresponding to each chamber, a rotatable disc having a hole for dispensing pills therethrough, and a motor, dispenses the pills according to a prescribed schedule. The motor controls the rotations of the rotatable disc according to a user-specified schedule.
Prescription item dispensing device
A prescription item dispensing device for regulated dispensing of controlled items includes an authenticator and a cap, with the latter being selectively lockable to a top of a tube. A mounting plate, which has an orifice positioned therein, is engaged to, and positioned within, the tube defining upper and lower chambers. The tube has an aperture positioned therein, which opens into the lower chamber. First and second doors, which are linear actuator actuated, are engaged to the tube and the mounting plate, respectively, to close the aperture and the orifice, respectively. A sleeve having a prescription item positioned therein is positioned in the upper chamber with a lower end of the sleeve aligned with the orifice. The authenticator authenticates an identity of a user, positioning the first and second doors for actuated opening to dispense a unit of the prescription item into the lower chamber for retrieval by the user.
