Thermal insulation box with temperature and humidity sensors
The invention relates to a smart thermal insulation box, including thermally insulated layers with mitered edges forming a thermally insulated space, and said space surrounded by corrugated material. The box also has externally viewable and operable temperature and humidity sensors, and optionally, a vibration sensor, where the sensors are preferably fixed inside the box to one side. One of the cardboard panels forming the top of the box which overlays the insulation layer has a window configured to overlay the display panel. An audible alert system may also be included to alert users to temperature or humidity excursions.
Systems and methods for automated programmable dispensing of medication
In a medication dispensing system, pills of different medications are stored in different chambers of a pill bottle. An assembly of a non-moving disc having holes corresponding to each chamber, a rotatable disc having a hole for dispensing pills therethrough, and a motor, dispenses the pills according to a prescribed schedule. The motor controls the rotations of the rotatable disc according to a user-specified schedule.
Pacifier with onboard drop sensor and notifications
A baby pacifier having a means to sense when it is dropped from an infant's mouth. The invention being comprised of a conventional, flexible pacifier with an onboard drop sensor therein. When the pacifier is dropped and contacts the ground or floor, the device senses the resulting vibration and sends a small audible sound along with a flash from a light emitting diode (LED) to notify the parent it has been dropped. Other embodiments of the invention can include different forms of notifications when they are droppedfor example, some can vibrate; some can activate when hearing a parents voice, a baby's cry, or to clapping. Still other embodiments allow parents to customize their own sound notifications when the device is dropped. An object of the invention is to minimize lost pacifiers by getting a parent's attention when the pacifier falls from an infant's mouth so they can recover it.
Systems, apparatuses, computer readable media, and methods for implementing a wirelessly-enabled liquid container
The present invention is directed to systems, apparatuses, computer readable media, and methods implementing a wirelessly-enabled liquid container that can be remotely and dynamically configured to facilitate use-based messaging for a particular consumer of the contents of the liquid container. By way of example, a wirelessly-enabled baby bottle is provided that can be dynamic configured to facilitate use-based educational messaging for a particular child consumer of the contents of the liquid container.

SMART BOTTLE USED FOR STORING LIQUIDS AND MEDICATIONS AND A METHOD FOR REMINDING TIMELY INTAKE THEREOF
A smart bottle used for storing liquids and medications is disclosed. The smart bottle includes electronics, memory, and a processor that causes alarms and reminders for user to take their medications in a timely manner.
The bottle shaped smart bottle is essentially an electronic device with liquid and medication storage compartments. It includes speaker for providing audible alerts to the users as well as their caregivers. It also includes a microphone that can be used by the user or caregiver to provide instructions relating to the intake of medication or to assist patients that have hand or finger arthritis.
The bottle has a longitudinal and circular body with a cap that can be twisted on/off at its top. The top, or the cap, is a smart cap that carries core intelligence and electronics. It comprises a microprocessor, in-built real-time clock, speaker and lights for intuitive alarms and microphone to hear the voice of user for ease of use.
The microprocessor is communicatively coupled through an electronic circuit to a plurality of electronic components housed within the smart bottle. These include alarms, microphone, displays, transmitter for sending out information, and an antenna for wireless connectivity.
The longitudinal main body of the smart bottle is circular in shape and includes a chamber for storing liquids, such as water or other liquid. It also has compartments on its front and back side for storing a plurality of pills and medications.
The smart bottle is wirelessly connected to a server. It has the capability of connecting to a patient database to obtain all patient related information as well as medication information and hours of administration information. The smart bottle fetches prescription data automatically when linked to Pharmacy. At the time of intake for a pill, the smart bottle reminds user for respective dosages through use of lights or audio alarms. The smart bottle also sends alerts to a caregiver and stored adherence and compliance data to a server. To do so, the smart bottle uses the transmitter to send alerts to mobile phone for reminding the user to take the medication or to send an alert to a caregiver.
The smart bottle also includes GSM and GPS modules. GPS mode allows the smart bottle to be located based on a GPS search. The GSM feature allows the user to make and receive calls from the smart bottle.
One method of operating the features of the smart bottle is through maneuvering and selecting preferences in a mobile application that is communicatively connected to the smart bottle. Another method of operating the features of the smart bottle is by having the user speak into the micro
MEDICINE BOTTLE INSERT
A pill bottle insert that may be coupled with a pill bottle to increase the time and effort required to dispense each pill. The insert includes a cap portion, from which a cone extends downwards into the bottle. A hole passes through the cap portion, proximately to the narrowest diameter of the cone, while the widest diameter of the cone is substantially similar to the interior diameter of the bottle, such that pills moving towards the mouth of the bottle will be received by the cone, and directed towards the hole. The hole may be sized and shaped to provide a desired level of effort to dispense each pill, depending upon the size and shape of the pills. The cone may also include diverters projecting from the interior wall, that may be sized and shaped to further restrict dispensing.
Pills dispensing device
The embodiments herein provide a device for dispensing pills. The device comprises several dispensing chambers molded into the bottle rim, or fastened inside or outside the bottle. The chamber includes many radial projections defining discrete pill holding areas. The device comprises a dispensing cap secured and rotated uni-directionally or bi-directionally to the chambers, having a base, provided with a window. The cap comprises uneven surfaces on the holding surface to allow the pills in the chambers to oscillate up and down thereby causing a mixing action. The cap is mounted outside the bottle. The device further comprises a rotating central hub formed on an inner side of the base for delimiting an inner boundary of the pill holding areas. The cap is rotated to align the window with the pill holding areas to dispense a pill when the bottle is inverted or angled upside-down.
Apparatus for administering small volume oral transmucosal dosage forms
Systems and methods for administration of small volume sufentanil drug dosage forms to the sublingual mucosa of a subject using a device are disclosed. The dispensing device includes a lock-out feature and a means to retard or prevent saliva and/or moisture ingress such that the drug dosage forms in the device remain dry prior to administration.
