The present disclosure relates to a wheel hub molding and casting die and a preparation process thereof. The die includes: a casting die shell, a supporting bottom plate, a limiting bottom plate, a lifting module, a module supporting plate, a lower die, an upper die and removable plates. The supporting bottom plate is mounted on the lower surface of the casting die shell. The limiting bottom plate is arranged below the supporting bottom plate. The module supporting plate is movably arranged in a molding cavity. The lifting module is connected between the bottom of the molding cavity and the module supporting plate. The lower die and the upper die are closed to form a pouring cavity. Annular slots are formed in the outer side wall of the upper die. Removable plate slots are formed in the upper surface of the casting die shell.

MOLD ASSEMBLY

An assembly includes a first mold component defining a first portion of a mold cavity and a first slot. The first slot corresponds to a first portion of a retention channel. The assembly also includes a second mold component defining a second portion of the mold cavity and a second slot. The second slot corresponds to a second portion of the retention channel. The assembly also includes a connector having a cross-sectional shape corresponding to a cross-sectional shape of the retention channel. The connector has thermal expansion characteristics that are different from thermal expansion characteristics of the first and second mold components such that when the first and second mold components are in contact and the connector is inserted into the retention channel, heating the assembly causes differential thermal expansion of the connector and the mold components resulting in a clamping force between the mold components.

Provided is a molding device for manufacturing a molded product having an arc-shaped bent inner space, wherein the molding device includes: a pair of molds which is joinable to each other and separable from each other, and is capable of forming a cavity C which has a shape corresponding to an outer shape of the molded product in a joined state during molding; a core which has a shape corresponding to an inner shape of the molded product, and is disposed in the inside of the cavity C which the pair of molds forms during molding; and a rotation member which is joined to a terminal end of the core, and is rotatable together with the core after molding. Compared to a conventional molding device, the molding device of the present invention becomes a molding device capable of suppressing the occurrence of a defect on a molded product having an arc-shaped bent inner space at the time of taking out the molded product.

The present invention provides a mold casting device including a raising and lowering mechanism that raises and lowers the upper mold; a die plate that is fixed to the upper mold; and a base member that is provided on upper end portions of the raising and lowering mechanism and supports the die plate from below.

A mold for production of cast parts, having two mold parts in the form of mold plates, which mold parts arc movable with respect to each other from an open position into a closed position, wherein the mold parts in their closed position define a mold cavity which may be filled with liquid casting compound and in their open position enable removal of a cast part which has solidified by at least partial cooling, and are lockable in their closed position by a locking device which joining the two mold parts so as to be releasable, and which mold parts may also be swung, wherewith in the closed position the locking device produces the locking of the mold plates with the stipulation that the locking pressure is maintained. The locking device has an energy storage means with a gas pressure spring for maintaining the closing pressure which presses the mold plates together after they have initially been pressed together.

Piston has crown portion 2 having crown surface 2a defining combustion chamber, thrust-side and anti-thrust-side skirt portions 3a, 3b formed integrally with crown portion and sliding on cylinder wall surface, a pair of apron portions 4a, 4a joined to skirt portions in circumferential direction, recessed portion 6 formed on back surface that is opposite side to crown surface and extending between skirt portions along substantially longitudinal direction, and a plurality of protrusions 7 formed integrally with bottom surface of recessed portion and extending along arrangement direction of skirt portions. At least one end edge in longitudinal direction of protrusion is integrally connected to inner side surface, facing one end edge of protrusion, of recessed portion. Adequate transcription performance to molding surface can therefore be ensured while removing remains of air on bottom side of recessed portion of mold for molding protrusions on crown portion back surface during casting.

Casting device

A casting device is provided with: a pair of cylinders; a core pin holding member to which core pins are attached; and a pair of bent members. The cylinder is disposed in parallel with a second limb of the bent member, and a rod is coupled to a surface on the inner side of a first limb of the bent member. The second limb is coupled to the core pin holding member via a coupling mechanism so as to be freely attachable to/detachable from the core pin holding member.

Casting device and casting method

A casting device includes: a split mold for forming a cavity, including a lower mold, a middle mold that slides in a horizontal direction on the lower mold and an upper mold; a split case for forming a chamber, including a lower case to which the lower mold is attached and an upper case to which the upper mold is attached; a chamber suction device that reduces a pressure at least in the chamber through a chamber pipe that is connected to the chamber and extends to an outside of the chamber; and a cavity suction device that reduces a pressure in the cavity through a cavity pipe that is connected to the cavity and extends to the outside of the chamber. The cavity and the chamber are formed when the middle mold is closed on the lower mold and the split case is closed.

CASTING DEVICE

A casting device is provided with: a pair of cylinders; a core pin holding member to which core pins are attached; and a pair of bent members. The cylinder is disposed in parallel with a second limb of the bent member, and a rod is coupled to a surface on the inner side of a first limb of the bent member. The second limb is coupled to the core pin holding member via a coupling mechanism so as to be freely attachable to/detachable from the core pin holding member.

Casting mold

Provided is a casting mold including a lower mold 4 fixed on a base 3, a plurality of horizontal sliding molds 5 to 8 which slide freely on the base 3 between a mold-opening position and a mold-closing position, an upper mold 9, and sliding mechanisms 12, 25 which slide the horizontal sliding molds 5 to 8 in the sliding directions. When sliding the horizontal sliding molds from the mold-opening position to the mold-closing position, the sliding mechanisms 12, 25 cause force to act on a lower section of the horizontal sliding molds 5 to 8 and prevent force from acting on an upper section of the horizontal sliding molds 5 to 8.
