Method for manufacturing a multi-color dental restoration
A process for the preparation of multi-coloured dental restorations is described, in which glasses and glass ceramics with various compositions are given the shapes of dental restorations and colour changes are effected in the glasses and glass ceramics by irradiating them with artificial electromagnetic radiation and subjecting them to a heat treatment.
Process for producing a colored dental zirconia article
The invention relates to a process of producing a dental zirconia article, the process comprising the step of sintering a porous dental zirconia article, the sintering comprising a heat-treatment segment A characterized by a heating rate of at least 3 K/sec up to a temperature of at least 1,200 C., the porous dental zirconia article being composed of a zirconia material containing 6.0 to 8.0 wt. % yttria, 0.05 to 0.12 wt. % alumina and comprising a coloring component containing Tb, the porous dental zirconia article being essentially free of Fe components. The invention also relates to a process comprising the additional step of applying a glazing composition to the outer surface of the porous zirconia article before the heat-treatment or sintering is conducted.

DENTAL ADHESIVE COMPOSITION
The present invention provides a dental adhesive composition that enables the formation of a thin film as its cured product while achieving high mechanical strength over an extended period. The present invention relates to a dental adhesive composition comprising a monomer (A) having an acidic group, a monomer (B) having no acidic group, a polymerization initiator (C), water (D), a volatile organic solvent (E), and a filler (F), wherein the monomer (B) having no acidic group comprises a monomer (B-1) having three or more polymerizable groups per molecule, a hydrophobic monomer (B-2) having one or two polymerizable groups per molecule, and a hydrophilic monomer (B-3) having one or two polymerizable groups per molecule, the dental adhesive composition has a viscosity of less than 40 cps according to a B-type viscometer at 30 C., and the dental adhesive composition has a water absorbency of 4.0% or less in its cured product.
BIOACTIVE COMPOSITES FOR BONE VOID FILLER COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS
This invention relates to bioactive composites, and more particularly, to bone void filler compositions including bioactive composites and/or implants and methods for the promotion of bone growth and regeneration. This invention also relates to bone void fillers, specifically to a high-strength calcium acrylic modified polymer (CAMP) material designed for orthopedic and surgical applications requiring both structural support and enhanced biological properties.
