Water Cooled Mold for Casting Aluminum Alloy Wheels and Manufacturing Method Thereof
The present invention provides a water cooled mold for casting aluminum alloy wheels and a manufacturing method thereof. The water cooled mold is provided with first-type water cooling channels with high heat exchange efficiency and second-type water cooling channels with low heat exchange efficiency. The first-type water cooling channels are concave grooves through which cooling water flows, and a cooling surface of the mold is in contact with open surfaces of the concave grooves. The second-type water cooling channels are grooves with stainless steel pipes, and the stainless steel pipes are in contact with the cooling surface of the mold. The second-type water cooling channels are installed on mold portions corresponding to wheel window positions of a cavity, and the first-type water cooling channels are installed on mold portions corresponding to spokes, flanges and rims of the cavity. The water cooled mold of the present invention is capable of accurately controlling a direction and a range of cooling within a three-dimensional space; the use of a thermal insulating groove is omitted so that the mold can be manufactured more simply and the service life of the mold can be prolonged; the cooling efficiency is high and resources are saved; and the whole device is simple to manufacture and low in cost.

COMPRESSOR IMPELLER CAST FROM AL ALLOY AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
The present invention provides: a compressor impeller that cast from an aluminum alloy, has superior production characteristics, and exhibits stable high-temperature strength when used at temperatures around 200 C.; and a method for producing same. The compressor impeller that is cast from an Al alloy is provided with a boss section, a plurality of vane sections and a disc section; the boss section, the plurality of vane sections and the disc section excluding the end section comprise an Al alloy comprising a predetermined metal composition; and at the end section of the disc section, there are at least 10,000/mm.sup.2 of intermetallic compounds having a circle-equivalent diameter of 1-6 m, and there are no greater than 500/mm.sup.2 of intermetallic compounds having a circle-equivalent diameter exceeding 6 m.
Split-type mold for wheel casting
The invention provides a split-type mold for wheel casting, the mold having an upper die, a split-type water-cooling side die and a lower die, and the split-type water-cooling side die is divided into four pieces along a circumferential direction of the wheel mold. A thermal deformation arc compensation surface is machined on arc portion of each split-type water-cooling lower side die, and a compensation surface is machined on key portions of 45-degree matching surfaces of adjacent split-type water-cooling upper side dies. The side die can effectively solve the problems such as untight matching between the matching surfaces, flashes of the matching surfaces and aluminum sticking and the like due to the thermal deformation and non-homogeneous expansion and shrinkage of the two portions of the split-type water-cooling side die.

Integrated mould for low-pressure casting of wheels
The present invention provides an integrated mold for casting of wheels. The integrated mold has an upper mold, integrated side molds and a lower mold, wherein the number of the integrated side molds is four in the circumferential direction of the wheel mold. Thermal deformation circular arc compensation surfaces are formed by processing on an upper and lower one-fourth circular arc part of each integrated side mold, and compensation surfaces are formed by processing on key parts of 45-degree matching surfaces of the adjacent integrated side molds. The integrated side molds can effectively solve the problems such as imprecise matching of the matching surfaces, parting-line flashes of the matching surfaces and adhesion of aluminum caused by thermal deformation of the integrated side molds.
