METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR ALTERING TEETH
Embodiments of the present disclosure pertain to methods of altering a tooth by applying an object to the tooth, where the object includes a composition that is released from the object onto the tooth, and where the composition has an altering effect on the tooth, such as tooth whitening, tooth repair, tooth maintenance, or combinations thereof. Additional embodiments of the present disclosure pertain to the objects of the present disclosure. The objects of the present disclosure may be in a chewable form, such as in the form of a chew toy or a chewing gum. The objects of the present disclosure may also be in a form that is capable of being applied topically by rubbing or brushing. The objects of the present disclosure may also include a second composition that has effects other than tooth altering effects, such as enticing a chewing of the object.
Compositions containing a cellulose derived capsule with a sunscreen active agent
A sunscreen composition comprised of one or more sunscreen active agents encapsulated in a cellulose derived capsule wherein the composition can contain one or more additional agents. A sunscreen composition can be mixed with a body wash, an after shower body lotion, a shampoo, a conditioner, a soap, a gel, a hand sanitizer, a cream, a spray, a mouse, a lotion, an ointment, a make-up product, a lip balm, a hair spray product, an arachnid/insect repellent or a medicinal product.
TEMPORARY TOOTH REPAIR/TREATMENT COMPOSITION AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
A hygienically packaged composition that includes a base layer of a thermoplastic film, a covering film layer that is a heat sealable or pressure sealable adhesive liner that covers the hygienically packaged composition where the hygienically packaged composition is a dental composition, a food composition, or a medicine. The covering film layer includes a stretched dimple in a portion of the covering film layer proximate the hygienically packaged composition thereunder the covering film layer. There is typically a heat or pressure seal around each hygienically packaged composition.
Photo-curable resin compositions containing impact modifier for three dimensional printing and cured dental product made of the same
A photocurable composition includes: about 45 to about 55 weight % of aromatic urethane di(meth)acrylate monomer having two urethane linkages and two acryloyloxy groups; about 20 to about 30 weight % of monofunctional (meth)acrylate monomer having acryloyl groups; about 8 to about 18 weight % of bifunctional (meth)acrylate monomer having ethoxy groups; about 5 to about 15 weight % of impact modifier having core-shell structure; about 0.2 to about 5.0 weight % of at least one kind of ultraviolet/visible (UV/Vis) light-photo-polymerization initiator; and at least one colorant.
Adhesive monomers for dental materials
Provided are adhesive monomers for dental materials including compounds represented by the general formula (1) below, in which the core (X) and the terminal group (Y1) are bonded to each other directly or via the linking group (Z): X(Y1)n.sup.1a(Z—Y1)n.sup.1b(1) wherein n.sup.1a represents the number of terminal groups (Y1) directly bonded to the core (X), n.sup.1b represents the number of terminal groups (Y1) bonded to the core (X) via the linking group (Z), and the sum of n.sup.1a and n.sup.1b is equal to the valence of the core (X); the core (X), the linking group (Z) and the terminal group (Y1) are further defined. The adhesive monomers can enhance adhesive strength to the tooth in dental treatment, and impart high mechanical strength to cured products.

POROUS GLASS NANOPARTICLES AND DENTIN ADHESIVE COMPOSITION COMPRISING SAME
Porous glass nanoparticles according to an embodiment have a specific surface area of 250 m2/g to 800 m2/g, and a pore volume of 0.1 cm3/g to 1 cm3/g. Since the porous glass nanoparticles have a high specific surface area and pore volume, the porous glass nanoparticles may have improved agilities to remineralize the demineralized dentin and occlude dentinal tubules. In addition, by including the porous glass nanoparticles, a dentin adhesive composition with improved adhesive strength to the dentin surface may be provided.
