Process for providing fluorescence to a dental ceramic body
A process for providing fluoresence to a dental ceramic body by treating at least a portion of the outer surface of the dental ceramic body or a precursor thereof with a bismuth containing substance, characterized by the steps of placing the dental ceramic body or the precursor thereof into a closeable container, in particular a crucible; generating a bismuth containing atmosphere in the container and exposing at least a portion of the outer surface of the dental ceramic body or of the precursor to the bismuth containing atmosphere at a temperature above 1000 C.
Shelf life and color profile of resin compositions with silver nanoparticles
Methods of forming antimicrobial resin compositions comprising silver nanoparticles are disclosed, wherein the resin compositions that are generated exhibit lower initial color, reduced color shift upon storage and reduced levels of spontaneous polymerization. Such methods generally comprise: combining a silver-containing material with a self-cure and dual-cure base resin in situ wherein the base resin does not contain a catalytic amine; and adding a catalytic resin to the mixture of the resin and silver-containing material in order to form the final cured resin. Antimicrobial polymeric materials formed by said methods are also disclosed.
DIMETHICONE-BASED ORAL VARNISH
An oral varnish comprising a combination of two different viscosity dimethicone components, wherein the difference between the two different viscosity dimethicone components is about 2.0 million cP or greater; and comprising at least one active ingredient, which is preferably a fluoride donor.

METAL POROUS BODY AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING METAL POROUS BODY
The metal porous body according to one aspect of the present invention has a framework of a three-dimensional network structure. The framework is hollow inside and is formed of a metal film, and the metal film contains titanium metal or titanium alloy as the main component.
Caries-Resistant Composite Resin
A direct filling composite resin restorative featuring a CTE that is similar to dentin and an antimicrobial is disclosed. The exemplary anti-microbial compound is zinc oxide. The CTE of the direct filling composite resin restorative is in the range of 12-15 ppm/ C. The low CTE is achieved by high filler loading of a trimodal distribution of low CTE filler. By maintaining a CTE substantially similar to that of dentin, the Marginal Percolation phenomenon is minimized, which decreases the incidence of secondary caries.
OPAQUE IMPARTING LIQUID FOR ZIRCONIA
To provide a liquid material which can only adjust transparency by applying on a part of a zirconia crown having high transparency, without coloring.
The present disclosure provides an opaque imparting liquid used for a prosthesis device cut and machined from a dental zirconia for cutting and machining, comprising; (a) 10 to 39 wt. % of a water-soluble aluminum compound and/or a water-soluble lanthanum compound, (b) 60 to 89 wt. % of water, and (c) 1 to 20 wt. % of an organic solvent.
