DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING METAL CLAD PLATES IN WAY OF CONTINUOUS CASTING AND ROLLING
The device and method for manufacturing metal clad plates in way of continuous casting and rolling provided by the present invention, combines the continuous casting, rolling and heat treatment methods used for single material production with the continuous and large-scale production method of composite strip, greatly improves the production efficiency of composite plates. The present invention can be used for producing single-sided or double-sided composite plates with different thickness specifications, wherein the base material or the composited material can be selected in a wide range, including carbon steel, stainless steel, special alloy steel, titanium, copper and the like. The invention realizes the production of composite plates by continuous casting and rolling, and reduces energy consumption and costs.
Continuous casting apparatus and corresponding method
Continuous casting apparatus comprising a plurality of compression units (11), each of which is defined by a lower roll (12) and an upper roll (13) configured to exert a compression action on a cast metal product (P). Each lower roll (12) defines with the respective upper roll (13) a passage gap (14) for the metal product (P). The passage gaps (14) of the compression units (11) are disposed aligned along a casting axis (Z) with an at least partly curved development. A straightening roll (15) is disposed on the extrados side of said casting axis (Z) and between at least two of the lower rolls (12).
Continuous steel casting method
In the continuous steel casting method of the present invention, a gap between strand support rolls with a strand in a rectangular shape interposed therebetween is increased toward a downstream side in a casting direction to thereby bulge the strand having an unsolidified layer thereinside such that the thickness between long-side surfaces of the strand increases within the range of 0.1% or more and 10% or less of the thickness of the strand inside a mold. A portion of the strand in which the solid phase fraction in a central portion of the strand is within the range of 0.2 or more and less than 0.9 satisfies a prescribed total rolling reduction and a prescribed reduction gradient, and a portion of the strand in which the solid phase fraction is within the range of 0.9 or more satisfies a prescribed total rolling reduction and a prescribed reduction gradient.
STRAND GUIDE SEGMENT AND CONTINUOUS CASTING PLANT
A strand guide segment for a continuous casting plant, which strand guide segment has an upper frame, a lower frame and position-controlled hydraulic cylinder units for setting the distance between the upper frame and the lower frame and, as a result, a strand thickness of a strand to be guided by the strand guide segment. A first end of each hydraulic cylinder unit is mounted on the upper frame. At the second end of the hydraulic cylinder units, facing away from the upper frame, each hydraulic cylinder unit is detachably connected by a respective flange connection to a respective tie rod which, at its end facing away from the flange connection, is mounted on the lower frame. The invention further relates to a corresponding continuous casting plant.
ROLLER STAND HAVING ELASTICALLY MOUNTED SUPPORTING ROLLERS
A roller stand for a continuous billet casting machine, having a carrying frame for mounting at least one lower supporting roller and at least two lateral supporting rollers. The lateral supporting rollers are mounted elastically on the carrying frame by means of at least one passive elastic element, and have an amount of elasticity at least in a direction perpendicular to the axes of rotation of the lateral supporting rollers. A method for determining the position and/or the shape of a billet is provided. During passage through at least one roller stand, alterations in the position at least of the lateral supporting rollers relative to a reference are detected and, on the basis of this information, the shape of the billet and/or the position of the billet in relation to the center line of the billet-guide channel are/is determined.
Method of thin strip casting
An apparatus for continuous casting a metal strip and reducing snake eggs in the metal strip. A pair of counter rotating casting rolls through which a thin strip can be cast are provided. A metal delivery system is disposed above the nip for discharging molten metal into a casting pool supported on the rolls. A pair of side dam holders and a pair of side dams are assembled adjacent each end portion of the rolls. Each side dam holder is tapered and dovetails with an adjacent side dam to confine the casting pool of molten metal supported on casting surfaces of the rolls. An oscillation mechanism provides lateral oscillation to each side dam and side dam holder at a frequency 2-50 hertz and with an amplitude 100-2000 μm during casting.
SPRING STEEL HAVING SUPERIOR FATIGUE LIFE, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR SAME
A spring steel having a superior fatigue life, and a manufacturing method for the same. The chemical components thereof are as follows in weight percentage: C: 0.52-0.62%, Si: 1.20-1.45%, Mn: 0.25-0.75%, Cr: 0.30-0.80%, V: 0.01-0.15%, Nb: 0.001-0.05%, N: 0.001-0.009%, O: 0.0005-0.0040%, P: ≤0.015%, S: ≤0.015%, and Al: ≤0.0045%, with the remainder being Fe and incidental impurities, wherein the following condition is also met 0.02≤(2Nb+V)/(20N+C)≤0.40. The spring steel of the present invention has a microstructure of tempered troostite+tempered sorbite, a prior austenite grain size less than 80 um, a size of alloy nitride and carbide precipitates being 5-60 nm, and a maximum width of single-grain inclusions being less than 30 pm. The spring steel has a handling strength greater than 2020 MPa, superior ductility and toughness (the reduction of area≥40%), and a fatigue life≥800,000 times, thereby meeting application requirements of high-stress springs in industries, such as automobiles, machinery, and the like.
CONTINUOUS CASTING APPARATUS AND CORRESPONDING METHOD
Continuous casting apparatus comprising a plurality of compression units (11), each of which is defined by a lower roll (12) and an upper roll (13) configured to exert a compression action on a cast metal product (P). Each lower roll (12) defines with the respective upper roll (13) a passage gap (14) for the metal product (P). CONTINUOUS CASTING METHOD OF STEEL
A continuous casting method of steel includes the step of bulging wide side surfaces of a slab having there inside an unsolidified layer with a total intentional bulging amount of 3 to 10 mm by increasing stepwise toward a downstream side in a casting direction a roller gap of a plurality of pairs of slab support rollers disposed in a continuous casting machine.
Aluminum alloy foil for electrode collector and production method therefor
An object of the present invention is to provide an aluminum alloy foil for an electrode current collector and a manufacturing method thereof, the foil having a high strength and high strength after a drying process after the application of the active material while keeping a high electrical conductivity. Disclosed is a method for manufacturing an aluminum alloy foil for electrode current collector, including: forming by continuous casting an aluminum alloy sheet containing 0.03 to 1.0% of Fe, 0.01 to 0.2% of Si, 0.0001 to 0.2% of Cu, with the rest being Al and unavoidable impurities, performing cold rolling to the aluminum alloy sheet at a cold rolling reduction of 80% or lower, and performing heat treatment at 550 to 620 C. for 1 to 15 hours.
