GUIDE ROLLER WITH INTEGRATED OPTICAL SENSORS AND CONTINUOUS CASTING MACHINE
A guide roller for a continuous casting machine includes a roller seat having bearings, a roller shaft mounted for rotation in the roller seat and at least one roller body mounted on the roller shaft and configured to support a billet. A passive optical sensor is mounted to the roller seat and configured to output optical signals, and an optical fiber extends from the passive optical sensor and is configured to convey the optical signals to a processor configured to determine one or more physical parameters of an installation position of the passive optical sensor based on the optical signals.
Bearing housing and its applications
A bearing housing is provided with a cooling channel in at least part of the circumference around the bearing. The cooling channel is provided with a flow guide member at least in part of its flow section to construct a tortuous passage whose flow distance is longer than the corresponding circumferential length of the flow section. On the basis of the above-mentioned bearing housing, the present invention also provides a bearing housing unit, a continuous casting roll line and a continuous casting machine that use the bearing housing. The above-mentioned bearing housing adopts an optimized cooling channel design, which can obtain a better cooling effect without changing other structures of the bearing housing. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for upgrading existing equipment and has a huge cost advantage and a wide range of application prospects.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING HOT-ROLLED METAL STRIPS
A device for producing hot-rolled metal strips has a casting machine that produces and transports slabs in a transport line of the casting machine. A rolling mill forms the slabs into corresponding metal strips during transport along a transport line of the rolling mill. A combination transport and temperature-influencing device is arranged between the casting machine and the rolling mill transports the slabs at least along the transport line of the rolling mill, feeds the slabs to the rolling mill and sets the temperature of the slabs to a rolling temperature. A surface device is arranged between the casting machine and the combination transport and temperature-influencing device and processes and/or treats and/or inspects at least one of the surfaces of the slabs. A temperature-influencing device is arranged between the casting machine and the combination transport and temperature-influencing device and modifies the temperature of the slabs.

Continuous-curvature convex roll for continuously casting bloom, and manufacturing method therefor
Disclosed are a continuous-curvature convex roll for continuously casting a bloom, and a manufacturing method therefore. An outer contour curve of a working portion of a body of the continuous-curvature convex roll contains a first straight-line segment (AB), a first transition curve segment (BC), an intermediate straight-line segment (CD), a second transition curve segment (DE) and a second straight-line segment (EF). The BC, the AB, and the CD have continuous first-order derivatives, continuous second-order derivatives, and continuous curvatures, thus forming a first transition curve with a continuous curvature. The BC and the DE are mirror-symmetrical. The continuous-curvature convex roll can uniformly deform a blank cast in a deformation area, thereby reducing cracks. The transition curve of the convex roll can be reduced, thereby being capable of further reducing a rolling pressure and the withdrawal resistance.
