Roll line unit and continuous casting apparatus
A roll line unit for a continuous casting apparatus includes a roll mantle having two ends and a non-rotatable shaft including a coolant line. The roll mantle is rotatably mounted on the non-rotatable shaft by means of a first bearing located in a first end region of the roll mantle and a second bearing located in a second end region of the roll mantle. The roll mantle includes at least one coolant channel having at least one fluid inlet that is arranged to be in fluid communication with the coolant line. The roll line unit includes two outer seals located on an axially outward side of each of the first and second bearings, whereby the outer seals and the first and second bearings are located axially inwards of the ends of the roll mantle.

A roll line unit for a continuous casting apparatus includes a roll mantle or roll body surface rotatable relative to a support housing by means of bearing(s). The support housing has a seal(s) located axially outward relative to the at least one bearing and/or seal(s) located axially inward relative to the at least one bearing, and a lubrication system having lubricant reservoir(s) containing lubricant. The support housing has one or more cavities containing lubricant located adjacent to the seal disposed axially outward of the bearing(s) and/or the seal located axially inward of the bearing(s). The lubricant reservoir(s) is/are in fluid communication with the at least one cavity. An actuator within the lubricant reservoir(s) is arranged to move when the volume of lubricant increases in the cavity and/or the reservoir, and/or to push lubricant from the lubricant reservoir into the cavity when the amount of lubricant in the cavity decreases.
BEARING BLOCK UNIT AND USE THEREOF
A bearing block unit for supporting a continuous casting roll, including a bearing block and a roller bearing disposed inside the bearing block. The bearing provides an inner ring raceway, an outer ring raceway, and at least one row of rolling bodies disposed between the inner and outer ring raceways. The inner ring raceway is formed by a complete and continuous independent inner ring. The inner ring is fitted on a roll shaft of the continuous casting roll during installation, for the purpose of supporting the continuous casting roll. The outer ring raceway is at least partially formed by processing of an inner surface of an inner hole of the bearing block. The present invention also relates to a continuous casting roll line and a continuous casting machine using the bearing block unit.

LIGHT REDUCTION METHOD FOR CONTINUOUS CASTING OF BLOOM PLAIN-BARRELLED ROLL-ROLLER COMBINATION
Disclosed is a light reduction method for continuous casting of a bloom plain-barrelled roll-roll combination. The method comprises: firstly obtaining three-dimensional temperature field profile, a two-phase region, solid-phase region thickness, and solid-phase fraction of a billet, determining positions of start and end rolls of the reduction, and setting a reduction amount of each tensioner roll according to the volume shrinkage of the billet; in an interval f.sub.s=0.9-1.0 of the solid-phase fraction of the billet, performing a heavy reduction working mode; and in an interval f.sub.s=0.25-0.80 of the solid-phase fraction of the billet, performing a light reduction working mode.
CONTINUOUS-CURVATURE CONVEX ROLL FOR CONTINUOUSLY CASTING BLOOM, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
Disclosed are a continuous-curvature convex roll for continuously casting a bloom, and a manufacturing method therefore, belonging to the field of metal casting. An outer contour curve of a working portion of a body of the continuous-curvature convex roll consists of a first straight-line segment (AB), a first transition curve segment (BC), a intermediate straight-line segment (CD), a second transition curve segment (DE) and a second straight-line segment (EF). The first transition curve segment (BC), the first straight-line segment (AB), and the intermediate straight-line segment (CD) have continuous first-order derivatives, continuous second-order derivatives, and continuous curvatures, thus forming a first transition curve with a continuous curvature. The first transition curve segment (BC) and the second transition curve segment (DE) are mirror-symmetrical. The continuous-curvature convex roll manufactured according to the technical solution can uniformly deform a blank cast in a deformation area, thereby reducing cracks. The transition curve of the convex roll can be reduced, thereby being capable of further reducing a rolling pressure and the withdrawal resistance. The present invention can be widely used in the field of metal casting.

Provided is a roller assembly which includes: a supporter configured to rotatably support a roller disposed in a movement path of a to-be-treated material; a fixed shaft attached to a rear surface of the supporter and having at least a stretchable portion; a body attached to the rear surface side of the supporter so as to surround the fixed shaft; and a plunger attached so as to connect the body and the fixed shaft and formed so that at least a portion thereof advances and retreats with respect to the movement path, a casting device provided with the roller assembly, and a roller separating method, wherein the roller assembly is capable of separating the roller from the movement path during emergency.

METHOD FOR IMPROVING CENTER SEGREGATION AND SURFACE CRACK OF CONTINUOUS CASTING MEDIUM THICK SLAB OF PERITECTIC STEEL
A method for improving center segregation and surface crack of continuous casting medium-thick slab of peritectic steel reduces the cooling intensity at the earlier stage of solidification and enhancing the cooling intensity at the final stage of solidification. For example, the cooling water amount of the wide face of the mould is 3400-3600 L/min, and the cooling water amount of the narrow face of the mould is 480-530 L/min. The cooling water amount of the wide face of the foot roller section is 239-298 L/min, and the cooling water amount of the narrow face of the foot roller section is 61-65 L/min. The total cooling water amount of the sector segment is 1517-2166 L/min.
