Plate, and holding apparatus and holding method for the plate
A plate, a plate-holding apparatus, and a holding method for the plate for facilitating work to attach the plate to a plate-receiving metal frame of a sliding nozzle device. A gap is ensured between a to-be-held portion of the plate and an inner wall surface of an engagement groove such that, when the plate is held by engaging the to-be-held portion of the plate with the engagement groove of a holding portion of the plate-holding apparatus, the plate is movable in the longitudinal direction, the width direction, and the thickness direction of the plate.

APPARATUS AND METHOD TO CONTROL CONTINUOUS CASTING, USING ELECTROMAGNETIC BRAKE
Apparatus to control continuous casting, comprising a mold provided with at least one entrance end through which liquid metal is introduced. Furthermore, according to the present invention, the apparatus to control continuous casting comprises at least one electromagnetic brake associated with the mold, configured to induce in the liquid metal recirculation flows, and a control and command unit connected at least to the electromagnetic brake and configured to manage the functioning thereof.
Method and device for regulating a continuous casting machine
A method and a device for regulating a continuous casting system. The continuous casting system has a mold (1) and a strand guide (8) which is arranged downstream of the mold (1). Molten metal (3) is cast into the mold (1), in particular via an inlet device (4). The molten metal hardens on walls (1a) of the mold (1), such that a metal strand (7) with a hardened strand shell (5) and a still liquid core (6) is formed. The metal strand (7) is drawn out of the mold (1) by mutually spaced rollers (8b) of the strand guide (8), and a measurement variable is ascertained which correlates to the undulation of the casting level formed in the mold. The measurement variable is processed using at least one computing specification and is used to reduce the undulation of the casting level. In order to reduce the undulations of the casting level, the mutual spacing of opposing rollers (8b) of the strand guide is changed cyclically prior to the full hardening point (D).

PRODUCTION APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PREPARING METAL CLAD PLATE IN SHORT PROCESS
A production apparatus for short-process metal composite plate manufacturing, comprising a metal supply device including an uncoiler (1), pinch roll (2), shot blasting machine (3), welding device (4), welding pinch roll (5), induction heating apparatus (6), metal delivery machine (7), two crystallization cooling rolls (8), secondary cooling leveling roll (9), rolling mill pinch roll (10), rolling mill (11), on-line cooling apparatus (12), straightener (13), and at least one of a dividing shear (14) and a recoiling machine (15). Also disclosed is a production method for short-process metal composite plate manufacturing. The apparatus and method combine continuous casting, rolling, and heat-treating means for single material production with continuous and large-scale production of composite plate strips, and production efficiency of composite plates is sharply improved. Single-sided or double-sided composite plate production having different thickness specifications can be performed, the optional range of a base layer or cladding material is wide.
