Opening/closing apparatus and molding apparatus
An opening/closing apparatus is provided for use in a molding apparatus, such as an injection molding machine. The opening/closing apparatus may eliminate the influence of a slight gap formed between a bush and a pin in a link connecting portion of a toggle link mechanism and in addition, can enhance workability e.g., in mold replacement. An opening/closing apparatus of the present technology may include an opening/closing mechanism including a toggle link mechanism connecting a pressure-receiving platen and a movable platen; a drive mechanism for driving the opening/closing mechanism; and a core-back hydraulic cylinder for applying a load to the movable platen in a given direction in conjunction with the first drive mechanism, configured to perform the operation of slightly opening of the mold.

Die casting mold and carousel
A die casting machine has a carousel and a plurality of molds disposed around the carousel. The carousel rotates about a central axis, such that each of the plurality of molds comes into a position for casting in turn. Each mold has a toggle mechanism and extraction pins. A gripping mechanism may extend up through a hole in the carousel table to couple the toggle mechanism to an actuator. At least one of the pins may have a pin brake such that the pins remain in position when the mold is opened, suspending a newly cast metal part in mid-air, when the brake is activated. When the brake is deactivated, the pins may retract, and the part may be removed without damaging the cast part.
Die casting mold and carousel
A die casting machine has a carousel and a plurality of molds disposed around the carousel. The carousel rotates about a central axis, such that each of the plurality of molds comes into a position for casting in turn. Each mold has a toggle mechanism and extraction pins. Clamping device and molding apparatus
The clamping device has a fixed platen, a moving platen which is movable in an mold opening and closing direction relative to the fixed platen, a tie bar which bridges the fixed platen and the moving platen, a pullout drive device which gives to the tie bar a driving force making the tie bar move to the back side of the fixed platen, and a support mechanism which is provided separately from the pullout drive device and support the load of the tie bar when moving the tie bar.
Adhesion force confirmation method and adhesion force confirmation device
The present invention enables confirmation that a mold magnetically adhered by a magnetic clamping device has been magnetically adhered by a sufficient adhesion force so as not to be pulled off from the magnetic clamping device by a mold opening force of a mold handling device. A controller 7 carries out magnetization of a magnetic clamping device 10 such that a magnetic adhesion force weaker than that in normal magnetization is generated in a state where molds M1, M2 are bound together, and carries out a test to determine whether separation of the molds M1, M2 would occur when platens 2, 3 are separated. The controller issues a warning regarding lack of guaranteed adhesion force to an operator when separation is detected, and carries out normal magnetization of the magnetic clamping device 10 when separation is not detected.

A casting die of the present invention includes a stationary die, a movable die, and a sliding die provided to the movable die so as to be insertable and withdrawable in a direction crossing a movement direction of the movable die and configured to form a cavity in collaboration with the stationary die and the movable die. The sliding die includes a slider core that is moved so as to be insertable and withdrawable along the movement direction of the movable die and a stopper that is in contact with the slider core at a die closing position and locks the slider core.
