ANTI-FLT-1 ANTIBODIES IN TREATING BRONCHOPULMONARY DYSPLASIA
20180072805 · 2018-03-15 ·

The present invention provides, among other things, methods and compositions for treating chronic lung disorders, in particular, bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD). In some embodiments, a method according to the present invention includes administering to an individual who is suffering from or susceptible to BPD an effective amount of an anti-Flt-1 antibody, or antigen binding fragment thereof, such that at least one symptom or feature of BPD is reduced in intensity, severity, or frequency, or has delayed onset.

HYPOTONIC HYDROGEL FORMULATIONS FOR ENHANCED TRANSPORT OF ACTIVE AGENTS AT MUCOSAL SURFACES
20180021435 · 2018-01-25 ·

Hypotonic formulations of hydrogel forming polymers, preferably poloxamers, have been developed for enhanced delivery through mucosa of therapeutic, diagnostic, prophylactic or other agents, to epithelial tissues, especially those having a mucosal coating. The polymers are administered at a concentration above, at or less than their critical gelling concentration (CGC) under isotonic conditions. The hypotonicity of the formulation is adjusted so that the polymer gels at the lower concentration. A Poloxamer gel administered into the vagina or colorectum at its CGC will form a plug of gel in the lumen.

Compositions and methods for treating diseases of the nail

Methods and compositions for treating disorders of the nail and nail bed. Such compositions contain a vehicle in which all components of the composition are dissolved, suspended, dispersed, or emulsified, a non-volatile solvent, a wetting agent, and a pharmaceutically active ingredient that is soluble in the non-volatile solvent and/or a mixture of the vehicle and the non-volatile solvent, which composition has a surface tension of 40 dynes/cm or less and has continuing spreadability, and which composition is effective in treating a disorder of the nail or nail bed.

2-fluoro-modified RNAs as immunostimulators

Methods of inhibiting the growth of cells or inducing cell death by contacting the cells with or introducing into the cells a composition including a 5 triphosphate, 2 fluoro-modified pyrimidine non-linear single stranded RNA at least 17 nucleotides long with a least 3 base pairings or a 5 triphosphate, 2 fluoro-modified double stranded RNA at least 17 base pairs long in an amount effective to inhibit cell growth, induce cell death or induce cytokine production by the cells. The methods also include administration of the compositions to a subject. The subject may have a proliferative disorder or infectious disease and administration of the compositions provided herein may treat the disorder or disease.

METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR REPAIR OF TENDON-BONE INTERFACE
20250009793 · 2025-01-09 ·

A method of repairing a damaged bone-tendon interface in a subject generally includes contacting the damaged bone-tendon interface with an effective amount of a composition that includes purified exosome product (PEP) and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. In one or more embodiments, the damaged bone-tendon interface includes complete separation of tendon from bone and the method further includes surgically reattaching the tendon to the bone. In one or more embodiments, the damaged tendon-bone interface comprises partial separation of tendon from bone and the method includes implanting the PEP composition at a site effective for contacting the PEP composition with the damaged tendon-bone interface.

Inhibitors of EGFR and methods of use thereof

The application relates to compounds, or pharmaceutically acceptable salts, hydrates, solvates, or stereoisomers thereof, which modulate the activity of EGFR, a pharmaceutical composition comprising said compounds, and methods of treating or preventing a disease in which EGFR plays a role.

Disclosed herein are antifungal compositions for treatment of skin and nails, as well as methods of making and using the same.

Transdiscal Administration Of Specific Inhibitors Of Pro-Inflammatory Cytokines

The present invention relates to injecting a high specificity cytokine antagonist into a diseased intervertebral disc.

Antifungal compositions for the treatment of skin and nails

Disclosed herein are antifungal compositions for treatment of skin and nails, as well as methods of making and using the same.

Methods and compositions for reducing microorganisms in the oropharynx, nasopharynx and oral cavities

The present disclosure relates to methods and compositions administered to the lymphatic tissue of an animal to prevent or reduce the incidence of disease or disease symptoms caused by one or more disease causing entities. Tonsillar compositions can be administered to the lymphatic tissue in the oral/nasal region of the animal and can include avian antibodies from eggs of hens inoculated with one or more target disease causing entities. Treating the lymphatic tissue in the oral/nasal region with the compositions described herein can reduce or prevent the disease causing entities from adhering to the lymphatic tissue resulting in reduced infection rates. The present disclosure also relates to oral compositions that can be used to reduce or eliminate oral pathogens in animals.
