The present invention provides a laminating-printing system including a laminating-printing unit (10) which prints the layers and sequentially laminates the layers; and a concentration adjusting unit (30) which adjusts the concentration of gas components in the shield gas, the laminating-printing unit (10) including: an irradiation section including an irradiation source of energy rays to irradiate the powder material, and a printing section including a chamber filled with the shield gas and a printing stage on which the layers are printed and laminated, and the concentration adjusting unit (30) including: a purification section which removes a first gas component which is an impurity in the shield gas based on the powder material; and a supply section which supplies a second gas component selected based on the powder material inside of the chamber as needed.

A novel method for two-dimensional or three-dimensional photo-thermal printing of metals, oxides, alloys, and metal composites to produce objects having predetermined shapes is presented. The method comprises: providing a metal ion solution on a substrate; focusing modulated laser light with an objective lens system into the solution on the substrate, thereby causing a microbubble to form and attaching reduced metal ions to the substrate; and moving the focus of the modulated laser light in the x, y, and z directions to continuously form new microbubbles on the previously deposited structure and directly attach reduced metal ions to the previously deposited structure as metal, metal oxide, alloy, or metal composite until the predetermined shape of the object has been produced. The method can be carried out using both layer by layer printing and vector printing.

METHOD OF ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING

A stress controlled layer is constituted to include a compressive stress applied part that is a region to which a compressive stress is applied and a compressive stress non-applied part that is a region different from the compressive stress applied part. In a solidifying step, scanning of a laser beam or an electron beam is performed while a scanning direction for the compressive stress applied part is different from a scanning direction for the compressive stress non-applied part such that the compressive stress applied part expands further than the compressive stress non-applied part or the compressive stress non-applied part shrinks compared with the compressive stress applied part based on a relationship between the scanning direction and an expansion quantity or a shrinkage quantity at a time of temperature change or at a time of heat treatment.
