Rigid universal cartridge for holding system
The present invention provides a rigid cartridge for multiple and universal application of all machining processes. The rigid cartridge includes a cylindrical body, a guiding and locating body connected to bottom side of cylindrical body, and a combination screw having a left hand [LH] thread and a right hand [RH] thread, wherein the cylindrical body includes a flat for locking the cartridge with the cutter body using locking screws, wherein the combination screw is connected to the bottom end of said guiding and locating body. The LH thread can be provided in cartridge side and RH thread can be provided in cutter body side or vice versa. In the cutter body or boring bar, a slot and/or approach hole can be provided in the cutter body for enabling to rotate the combination screw in clockwise or anti-clockwise direction to move the cartridge in forward and backward direction with respect to the cutter body.
Tool for machining workpieces
A reamer or similar tool comprising a cutting device having a cutting edge, a clamping device, whereby the cutting device can be clamped to the main body of the tool, an adjusting device that interacts with the cutting device, for adjusting the machining diameter of the tool, and a guiding device comprising an elongated guiding element, which interacts with an elongated guiding receptacle such that the cutting device can be guided in a sliding manner perpendicularly to the center axis during a displacement when the adjusting device is activated. The guiding element and the guiding receptacle extend perpendicularly to the center axis of the main body of the tool. The guiding device of the tool has a single guiding element and/or a single guiding receptacle, and the guiding element has an elongated elevation and the guiding receptacle has an elongated recess.
CUTTING TOOL SUITABLE TO ALLOW A BALANCED SETTING
A cutting tool includes a main body suitable to be mounted pivotably about an axis of rotation. A cutting head is carried by a carrying member. The carrying member is mounted displaceably in translation on the main body along an axis perpendicular to the axis of rotation. A counterweight is displaceably mounted in translation on the main body along an axis perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The cutting tool also includes an adjusting spindle for the simultaneous adjustment of the carrying member with respect to the counterweight, arranged on either side of the axis of rotation of the main body.
ROTARY CUTTING TOOL WITH SUPPORT STRUCTURE
A rotary cutting tool includes a support structure having a central hub located at an axially rearward end of the rotary cutting tool. A plurality of primary support members extends from the central hub in different axial and radial directions in three-dimensional space with respect to a central, rotational axis of the rotary cutting tool. The support structure may include one or more secondary support members extending from a primary support member in different axial and radial directions in three-dimensional space, and one or more tertiary support members to increase stiffness of the support structure. The central hub extends in a plane that is substantially perpendicular to the central, rotational axis of the rotary cutting tool. In one embodiment, each of the plurality of primary support members have a different physical dimension.

MODULAR BORING HEAD WITH FINE ADJUSTMENT CLICK MECHANISM
A modular boring head includes a tubular main body having an internal thread with a first pitch and a pair of axially extending cantilevered members. A movable rod engages the tubular main body such that the movable rod is movable with respect to the tubular main body in an axial direction, D. The movable rod has an internal thread with a second pitch different than the first pitch. A leadscrew is disposed within the tubular main body and has a plurality of gear teeth. Rotation of the leadscrew causes the pair of axially extending cantilevered members of the tubular main body to cooperatively engage with the plurality of gear teeth of the leadscrew in such a manner so as to produce an audible and tactile click, each click being indicative of a distance the movable rod is displaced with respect to the tubular main body.
Machining tool with deployable blade
A machining tool may include an elongated body forming a duct therewithin, the duct extending from a proximal inlet at a proximal end of the body to a distal portion of the body having a first lateral opening. The tool may also include a plunger movable between a proximal first position and a distal second position along the duct. The tool may also include a resilient element to press the plunger towards the proximal inlet, and a pivotally deployable blade rotatable between a deployed state, when the plunger is in the first position, and a retracted state, when the plunger is in the second position, wherein the blade is deployable from the first lateral opening.
