Contouring head
A contouring head includes a sleeve and coaxially mounted spindle connected by means of a yoke to a slide mounted by first and second sets of roller bearings to and between a slide track and a pair of keeper plates which hold the slide to the slide plate and within a slide track formed therein. A yoke interconnects the spindle to the slide to convert axial motion of the spindle into radial motion of the slide. A tool mount in the form of a pot is connected to the slide to control the radial position of a single edged cutting tool. A cover is mounted on the keeper plates and slide plate.
Cutting tool
An object of the present invention is to provide a cutting tool capable of expanding a range in which adjustment work can be readily performed and reducing manufacturing cost. Provided is a cutting tool including: a cartridge to which a cutting member having a cutting edge is fixed; a body having at least one cartridge mounting part in which the cartridge is installed; and an adjustment plate installed between walls or a bottom surface constituting the cartridge mounting part and the cartridge, wherein the walls or the bottom surface of the cartridge mounting part has a recessed part for housing the adjustment plate.

Drill head for chambering non-cylindrical inner contours
The invention relates to a drill head for chambering non-cylindrical, rotationally symmetrical holes. This drill head is characterized in that, starting from a diameter of a guide hole, it can cut a very large chamber out of a workpiece. In addition, the drill head has a simple design and is very robust and tight, so that high cutting capacities can be reliably achieved.
Boring head with a mechanism for clamping a displaceable tool carrier
A boring head is provided comprising a tool body (1) having a main rotation axis (R) about which the tool body (1) rotates during boring operations. The boring head further comprises a tool carrier (6) arranged in or on the tool body (1), a first motor (9) for displacing the tool carrier (6) relative to the tool body (1) and a clamping mechanism (26) with a clamping element (27, 55, 68, 81) for effecting a clamping force on the tool carrier (6), in order to prevent a displacement of the tool carrier (6) relative to the tool body (1) during boring operations. The clamping mechanism (26) is an active clamping mechanism which effects a clamping force that can be adjusted actively.
MACHINING SYSTEM
Provided is a mobile machining system for a turning machining of inner surfaces of hollow-cylindrical components, in particular for machining valve seats. The machining system includes a second drive train and the third drive train in each case which preferably have a gear mechanism, in particular a planetary gear mechanism, which is arranged between the respective motor and the associated gearwheel which projects outward from the rotational part. This leads to a simple, inexpensive and space-saving construction.
FACING ACCESSORY FOR A PORTABLE BORING APPARATUS
There is described a facing accessory for a portable boring apparatus, the accessory comprising: a shaft mounting portion for mounting to a longitudinal shaft of the portable boring apparatus extending along a longitudinal axis; a tool holder secured to the shaft mounting portion and adapted to receive a facing tool thereon, the tool holder comprising at least a telescopic arm for enabling movement of the facing tool towards and away from the shaft mounting portion along a radial axis relative to the longitudinal shaft; and an actuator operatively connected to the second section of the telescopic section for translating the second section relative to the first section along the radial axis.
BORING HEAD AND A BORING TOOL ASSEMBLY
A boring head for fixing a boring tool includes a main body mounted to a rotatable tool holder, a piston being received within and movable with respect to the main body in a radial direction, wherein a circumferential surface of the piston has a flat face parallel with the radial direction, and a combined orientation and fixation device for orienting and fixing the piston with respect to the main body. The combined orientation and fixation device includes a blind sleeve mounted in the main body, a flexible end wall of the blind sleeve facing the flat face of the piston, and a tightening screw configured for engagement with the blind sleeve so that the flexible end wall presses against the flat face when the tightening screw is tightened to press the piston against the main body and to simultaneously orient and fix the piston with respect to the main body.
Safe mode cross slide system
A safe mode cross slide system having a cross slide with a back plate, a front plate and a saddle. The back plate can have a pair of end caps, a pair of linear guides, a first ball screw, a first gear box, a first servo motor, a first drive, and a first manual feed knob and the front plate can have a pair of end caps, a pair of linear guides, a second ball screw, a second gear box, a second servo motor, a second drive, and a second manual feed knob. The system can have a power supply, a communications hub with a processor and data storage.
