Cutting tool
Provided is a cutting tool including: a head portion which includes an insert mounting seat on which a cutting insert is installed; a shank which is installed on the rear end side of the head portion and holds the head portion; and a bolt which fixes a position of the head portion with respect to the shank when the head portion is mounted on the shank. The head portion is configured to be mountable to the shank, with the angle thereof changing around a center axis.
Holder, cutting tool, and method of producing machined product
A holder according to one embodiment has a rod shape and includes a head portion located at a front end side. The head portion includes an upper jaw portion and a lower jaw portion located at a front end, an insert pocket located between the upper jaw portion and the lower jaw portion, a first wall surface located at an upper surface of the upper jaw portion and inclined in an extending manner from one side surface side, a second wall surface located closer to a rear end side than the first wall surface and inclined upward, a concave-shaped third wall surface located closer to the rear end side than the second wall surface, and a fourth wall surface inclined upward as the fourth wall surface extends away from the third wall surface. The third wall surface is concave downward from an upper end of the second wall surface.
Cutter fastening assembly and cutter holder for the same
A cutter fastening assembly has a tool block, a fastening bolt, a fastening unit, a collet, and a cutter holder. The fastening bolt, the fastening unit, and the collet are mounted inside the tool block. The cutter holder has an assembling seat and a threaded hole. The assembling seat is integrally formed on the cutter holder and has a flange portion. The threaded hole is axially defined inside the flange portion and is screwed with the fastening bolt to keep the cutter holder connecting with the tool block.
BLOCKING DEVICE OF TOOL-HOLDER ON LATHES
A blocking device of tool-holders on lathes, especially for the rapid and precise blocking of tool-holders on CNC (Computer Numerical Control), single spindle or multi-spindle lathes as well as on transfer machines, milling centres of any kind and, in general, on machine tools which perform machining by chip removal, is paired with a tool-holder, motorized or non-motorized, connected to the existing support on said lathes and comprises an anchoring pawl provided with a female truncated-cone shaped recess. Said pawl is moved vertically with respect to the longitudinal axis of said tool-holder by mechanical or hydraulic means driven to engage said female, truncated-cone shaped recess with an inclined, male truncated-cone appendage made on said tool-holder.
Segment collet
A segment collet, which includes at least two clamping segments, each of which has a receptacle, in which a coupling ring is accommodated, which connects the clamping segments to each other. A securing device is provided to connect the coupling ring to the clamping segments for the purpose of limiting the axial mobility of the clamping segments relative to the coupling ring as well as to fix their circumferential position. The invention furthermore relates to a coupling ring for a segment collet.
Parting blade and tool holder therefor
A tool holder includes a tool shank and a tool head connected to the tool shank. The tool head has a rear surface. An insert seat or a blade pocket is partially formed on both the tool head and the tool shank, and extends rearwardly of the tool head's rear surface. Adjacent to at least a portion of a shank side surface there is a reinforcement portion connecting the shank side surface and the tool head.
TOOL BRACKET
Provided is a tool bracket in which a spindle body is inserted and the spindle body can be smoothly tilted. The tool bracket includes a housing including a cylinder chamber extending along a cylinder axis; a tilting body having a tilt axis configured to tilt about a tilt center, the tilting body to which a spindle body is attachable, the tilting body tiltable with respect to the cylinder axis; a rotation stopper member extending in a radial direction from the tilt axis, the rotation stopper member disposed in the tilting body; and a receiving groove extending along the cylinder axis, the receiving groove arranged in the housing.
Machine tool assembly configured for swift disassembly
A machine tool assembly including a body component, a head component and a fastener. The body and head components respectively include a body hole and a head hole. The fastener is configured to secure the head component to the body component via insertion through the head hole and attachment to the body hole. The head hole includes a head fastener retention arrangement for preventing unintentional ejection of the fastener therefrom.
Balancing or measuring adapter
The invention relates to a balancing or measuring adapter (1) for clamping a component (2) on a rotating machine element of a balancing or measuring machine, which has a main body (4, 5) with a receiving opening (6) for the component (2) to be clamped, a collet chuck (11) arranged inside the main body (4, 5) with clamping tongues (26) for centrally clamping the component (2) and an actuator (12) axially adjustable between a clamp position and a release position for actuating the collet chuck (11). The collet chuck (11) is arranged inside the main body (4, 5) so as to be axially moveable such that, upon a displacement of the actuator (12) from the release position into the clamp position, in a first clamping phase the clamping tongues (26) of the collet chuck (11) move radially outwards, firstly to a front chucking area (27) allocated to the component (2) to be clamped, and that in a second clamping phase, the clamping tongues (26) move radially outwards with an axial movement inside the main body (4, 5) to a rear chucking area (28) allocated to the main body (4, 5).
