DEVICE, METHOD, AND CUTTING PLATE FOR MACHINING A ROTATING WORKPIECE
A method and a device for machining a workpiece rotating about a rotational axis. The machining point moves along the cutting edge of a cutting edge plane and the surface to be machined in a rolling movement on an advancement plane not intersected by the rotational axis. A pivot drive implements a large enough pivot angle so that a first workpiece surface is machined by a machining point moving along the first cutting edge in a first machining step. In a second machining step, a second workpiece surface is machined, wherein the machining point moves along the second cutting edge and the second workpiece surface. The cutting edge has a curvature radius smaller than the distance from the pivot axis of the holder to the cutting edge. The holder can additionally be displaced on the advancement plane with a movement component in a direction transverse to the rotational axis.
MACHINE TOOL
The present invention relates to a machine tool including a ram spindle and a tool holder, and provides a machine tool comprising: a tool holder including at least two inserts; and a ram spindle capable of fixing the tool holder in a clamped state or rotating the tool holder in order to change the position of the insert, such that the position of the insert can be quickly changed, thereby enabling an improvement in productivity and precision and a reduction in product costs.
TOOL POST COMPRISING A PLURALITY OF TOOL-HOLDER SPINDLES AND NUMERICALLY-CONTROLLED MACHINE TOOL INCLUDING SUCH A TOOL POST
A tool post including a body extending according to an axis A-A, the latter including, at one of its ends, a base for fastening to a numerically-controlled machine tool and, at the other end, a head movable in rotation, the head including at least two tool-holder spindles, each being intended to receive a cutting tool in engagement, the spindles occupying, depending on the angular position of the head, a working position in which they are intended to carry out a machining operation on a workpiece held in position in a fitting or a standby position in which they are withdrawn from the workpiece, each of the spindles being configured to be controlled independently of the other in order to immobilise or drive in rotation the cutting tool carried thereby, irrespective of the position it occupies.
CUTTING TOOL AND CUTTING APPARATUS
A cutting tool has a cutting bite, a power path, and a housing. The cutting bite includes a cutting edge, a shank that holds the cutting edge, and a sensor attached to the shank. The power path has a first terminal connected to the cutting bite and a second terminal opposite to the first terminal, and supplies power to the sensor. The housing accommodates a battery that stores power to be supplied to the power path, and is connected to the second terminal.
TURRET FOR TOOL MACHINE
A turret for tool machine includes: at least a turret body supported by the tool machine; at least a rotating drum supported by the turret body and supporting at least two tool holders upon which are mounted at least two rotating tools the rotating drum being mounted externally rotating around the turret body; at least an electrical spindle positioned in a recess inside the turret body; the electrical spindle extending itself around a vertical axis; the electrical spindle including a motor, a rotating shaft for the transmission of the movement associated to the motor and an engagement portion suitable for coupling to the tool holder; each tool holder extending itself along a vertical axis; the rotating drum being rotatably mounted around the turret body so as to rotate for aligning each tool holder with the engagement portion.
Vibration reduction device for machine tool
A vibration reducing device for a machine tool reduces vibration generated in a tool support body supporting a tool. The vibration reducing device includes an attenuation inducing member and a pressing and fitting mechanism. The attenuation inducing member is brought into contact with the tool support body so as to generate a frictional force in a direction in which it acts as a resistance to the vibration generated in the tool support body. The attenuation inducing member has a rigidity in a direction conforming to a contact surface between the attenuation inducing member and the tool support body, which rigidity is higher than that of the tool support body. The pressing and fitting mechanism fits the attenuation inducing member to the tool support body in a pressed condition.
Tool exchanger apparatus of machine tool
In a tool exchanger apparatus of a machine tool including a turret which turns around an axis inclining with respect to a vertical direction and which conveys tools, forces applied to tool gripping portions are calculated from a resultant force of a centrifugal force, gravity and an inertial force applied to each of the tools, using a weight and a position of each of the tools and a turning speed and a turning acceleration of the turret for each of turning phases when the turret turns, and the turning speed and the turning acceleration of the turret are determined for each of the turning phases.
Long boring bar device of machine tool
The present disclosure relates to a long boring bar device of a machine tool and, more particularly, to a long boring bar device of a machine tool, wherein a boring bar is detachably fastened to a holder, and a head tool is detachably fastened to the boring bar to automatically exchange a head tool through an automatic tool changer, thereby reducing non-processing time and improving productivity of the machine tool.
UTILITIES SUPPLY APPARATUS FOR TOOL HOLDER OF MACHINE TOOL
Utilities supplied through a first utility path of a turning tool holder via a docking device is supplied to a second utility path of an adjacent rotating tool holder through a communication means, there is no need to provide a complex hydraulic line, a pneumatic line and a coupler for receiving the utilities from the docking device at a rearward side of the rotating tool holder. A rearward size of the rotating tool holder may be minimized, so that even when the rotating tool holder is mounted on the turret, no interference occurs with the docking device in the rearward direction when the turret rotates. As a result, it is possible to use the rotating tool holder, to which utilities supply is necessary, even in the turret which is provide with the docking device.
