Described herein are compositions and methods for treating hyperkeratosis disorders such as dandruff, psoriasis, acne vulgaris, warts, corns, calluses, palmoplantar keratodermas, ichthyosis, seborrheic dermatitis, meibomian gland dysfunction, HPV infection, lichen planus, aclinic keratosis, seborrheic keratosis, etc. Said compositions comprise a selenium-containing amino acid as keratolytic agent, and are topically administered to the skin or eyelid margin of the patient. In some embodiments, the composition comprises a selenium-containing amino acid such as selenium methionine or selenium cysteine formulated in a ophthalmic, dermatological, or cosmetic dosage form.

Multi-Functional Cleaning and/or Debridement Composition
The present invention relates to a new multifunctional debridement and/or antifouling composition comprising H.sub.2O.sub.2 at a final concentration of between 0.1-5% v/v, and a composite hydrogel formulation comprising pluronic acid at a concentration of 10-40% w/v, wherein the composition is in liquid form at room temperature. The composition disclosed herein is antimicrobial and/or anti-inflammatory and is particular useful in periimplantitis treatment and implant health maintenance, in periodontitis and periodontal health and in wound care and chronic ulcer care.
METHOD OF TREATMENT OF TOPICAL DERMATOLOGIC ACNE USING A CREAM COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
In some aspects, the techniques described herein relate to a topical dermatologic acne treatment method using a cream. The treatment method uses two steps, first providing a bactericidal component and second providing a skin revitalizing complex. The bactericidal component clears the acne causing bacteria. The subsequent skin revitalizing complex revitalizes and conditions the skin and aids in return of natural skin flora and microbiome to prevent subsequent outbreaks. The skin revitalizing complex can include a variety of components such as: niacinamide, retinol, bakuchiol, green coffee bean extract, green tea extract, epilobium fleischeri extract, citric acid, dimethicone, and pentaerythrityl tetracaprylate. The skin revitalizing complex restores natural elasticity and oil production of the skin, decrease sebum production, and provide necessary conditioning of the skin to provide for the natural skin flora and microbiome to repopulate and flourish on a surface of the skin.
