Wall repair plug system
A plug system for repairing a hole in a wall includes a cylindrical plug body that has a grooving implement adapted to cut or abrade the wall at one end and a thread projecting outwardly from the plug body at an opposing end. A plug is adapted for fitting within a rear cavity and has at least one screw aperture. In use, with the plug body fixed with the rotary tool, the rotary tool is activated to rotate the plug body to cut or abrade the wall around the hole. The thread of the plug body engages the wall until the proximal end of the plug body is substantially flush with the wall to repair the wall, and to provide screw apertures at the desired location on the wall to hold an object with screws if needed.
PIPE COUPON RETAINER
A cutting tool which includes a cutter operable to cut a hole defining a first diameter; and a drill bit mechanically coupled to the cutter, the drill bit operable to cut a hole defining a second diameter which can be smaller than the first diameter, the drill bit further includes a tool body having a recess and a detent member mechanically coupled to the tool body which can include a leg extending from the tool body and sized to be received within the recess upon one of deformation and movement of the leg, the leg biased in a radially outward direction by one of a wall of the recess and a biasing element of the tool.
METHOD OF USING A PIPE COUPON RETAINER
A method of using a tool can include obtaining a tool which comprises a tool body having a recess and a detent member coupled to the tool body having a leg extending from the tool body, receiving the detent member of the tool body within the recess of the tool body upon one of deformation and movement of the leg by pushing the leg in a radially inward direction against a biasing of the leg in a radially outward direction with an edge of a hole formed in a portion of a pipe, passing the detent member through the hole formed in the pipe, catching the detent member in a removal direction, and moving a pipe coupon with the tool
Heavy equipment concrete core drill attachment
The present invention is an attachment that reversibly connects to a skid steer, front loader, or other heavy equipment. The attachment allows a user to quickly and efficiently core holes in concrete and asphalt. The attachment comprises a frame assembly that rests upon the surface of concrete being cored and a carriage assembly. The carriage assembly connects a drum saw to the frame assembly. The carriage assembly moves vertically up and down along the length of the frame assembly while coring a hole in concrete. The attachment includes two, three, and four-post embodiments. The three and four-post embodiments provide include a larger frame assembly that provides additional stability to the attachment while allowing the user to quickly reposition the attachment to core additional holes.
SYSTEM, APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR GRAFTING TISSUE
Systems, apparatus, and methods may be adapted for grafting tissue at a tissue site that may include an elongate housing and a plurality of elongate cutting members. The plurality of elongate cutting members may define a cutting surface at a distal end of the elongate housing. The cutting surface may be adapted to contract from a first diameter to a second diameter that is less than the first diameter. The contraction of the cutting surface from the first diameter to the second diameter may define a tapered profile between the first diameter and the second diameter suitable for obtaining a tapered graft.
Drill bit with an exchangeable cutting portion
A drill bit, which is rotatable in a direction of rotation about an axis of rotation, is disclosed. The drill bit has a cutting portion with an annular portion where the annular portion has a first end on which is a cutting element and has at a second end a first insertion element. The drill bit has a drill shaft portion with a cylindrical drill shaft which has at an end, towards the cutting portion, a second insertion element. In a direction of insertion parallel to the axis of rotation, the insertion elements form a plug-in connection and can be additionally connected by way of at least one pin element which is movable in at least one slit-shaped clearance.
HOLE SAW
A hole saw includes a substantially cylindrical body defining a cutting end and an axis of rotation. The hole saw also includes first and second apertures formed through the body and spaced from the cutting end such that a portion of the body extends between the cutting end and both the first and second apertures. The first and second apertures are both configured to receive a tool for removing work piece plugs from within the cylindrical body. The first aperture is axially spaced from the cutting end a first distance. The second aperture is axially spaced from the cutting end a second distance that is greater than the first distance. The first aperture and the second aperture are separated by a portion of the body.
A CUTTING TOOL AND A BRANCH CONNECTION DEVICE COMPRISING A CUTTING TOOL
A cutting tool for cutting a hole into a fluid transportation pipe and for retaining a cutting chip is provided. The tool (1) comprises a main body (2) having an end which is prolonged by a tapered part (3), the tool (1) further comprising an accommodation space (11), the tool being configured to receive a cutting chip in the accommodation space (11) via an opening (10) which extends at least from a geometrical apex (5) of the tapered part (3) to the periphery of the main body (61), and the tool (1) further has a cutting edge (4) extending at least from the geometrical apex (5) of the tapered part (3) to the periphery of the main body (2) of the cutting tool (1). The main body (2) is made of a material that differs from a material of which the cutting edge (4) is made.
Hole saw
A hole saw includes a cylindrical body disposed along an axis of rotation with a side wall extending axially from a cap end to a cutting end. The cutting end includes a plurality of cutting teeth. The hole saw also includes a cap coupled to the cap end of the cylindrical body. The side wall defines an elongated aperture configured to receive a tool for removing work piece plugs from within the cylindrical body. The elongated aperture has a first slot portion adjacent the cutting edge. The first slot portion is oriented perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The elongated aperture also has a second slot portion connected to the first slot portion and extending from the first slot portion toward the cap end. The second slot portion is oriented at an oblique angle relative to the axis of rotation.
