Hole saw
A hole saw includes a cylindrical body having a sidewall with a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The cylindrical body includes a gullet formed in the sidewall between a leading surface, a trailing surface, and a bottom surface of the sidewall. The gullet defines a central longitudinal axis extending between the first and second ends of the sidewall that is obliquely oriented relative to a rotational axis of the hole saw such that the gullet is angled from the first end to the bottom surface in a direction toward a cutting direction of the hole saw. The gullet has a dimension measured parallel to the rotational axis between the first end of the sidewall and the bottom surface of the gullet that is greater than 1.5 inches. The hole saw includes a cutting tooth coupled to the first end of the sidewall adjacent the gullet.
Drilling Tool
A drilling tool is configured to perform drilling and/or percussive work on materials such as stone, concrete and/or reinforced concrete. The drilling tool has a fastening region and a working region. The working region has a working body and at least one cutting element projecting axially and/or radially in relation to the working body. The at least one cutting element has at least one first cutting edge and at least one second cutting edge. The at least one second cutting edge is configured to serve as a replacement cutting edge and/or as an auxiliary cutting edge, and the at least one second cutting edge is set back, at least partly, in relation to the at least one first cutting edge of the drilling tool, axially along a longitudinal axis of the drilling tool, in a direction towards the fastening region.
DRILL BIT WITH A REPLACEABLE CUTTING PORTION
A drill bit rotatable about a rotation axis is disclosed. The drill bit has a first drill bit portion configured as a cutting portion and has an annular portion connected at one end to one or more cutting elements and, at another end, a first connection device. The drill bit has a second drill bit portion configured as a drilling shank portion and has a cylindrical drill shaft, which on one end has a second connection device. The first and second connection devices in a connected state form a detachable connection, and a force transmission and torque transmission occur from the drill shaft portion to the cutting portion. The cutting portion has a third connection device, and the drill shaft portion has a fourth connection device. The third and fourth connection devices in a connected state form in an axial direction parallel to the axis a form-fitting connection.
Guide pad and gun drill having guide pad
Provided are a guide pad having sufficient strength and a gun drill having the guide pad. A guide pad includes: a first surface; a second surface that is a flat surface located at a position opposed to the first surface; and a third surface that connects the first surface and the second surface to each other. When viewed along a rotational center axis, the first surface is a circular-arc-shaped surface, and when a point at which a virtual line passing through a circular-arc center of the first surface and perpendicular to the second surface and the second surface cross each other is assumed as a first point and a point at which a central axis of the through hole and the second surface cross each other is assumed as a second point, the first point is located at a position closer to the third surface than the second point.
Hole saw
A hole saw is movable about a rotational axis in a cutting direction to cut into a workpiece. The hole saw includes a cylindrical body with a sidewall having a first end and a second end opposite the first end, a gullet formed in the sidewall between a leading surface, a trailing surface, and a bottom surface of the sidewall, and a support aperture formed in the sidewall. The gullet extends through the first end of the body. The support aperture is entirely surrounded by the sidewall. A majority of the support aperture circumferentially overlaps with the gullet. At least a portion of the support aperture is positioned closer than the bottom surface of the sidewall to the second end. The hole saw includes a cutting tooth coupled to the first end of the sidewall adjacent the gullet and an end cap coupled to the second end of the sidewall.

HOLE SAW
A hole saw movable about a rotational axis in a cutting direction to cut into a workpiece. includes a cylindrical body having a sidewall with a first end and a second end opposite the first end, and a gullet extending through the first end of the cylindrical body. The gullet includes a first linear surface extending parallel to the rotational axis, a second linear surface extending parallel to the rotational axis, and a third linear surface extending from the first linear surface toward the second linear surface, the third linear surface oriented oblique to the rotational axis. The cylindrical body also includes a cutting tooth coupled to the first end of the sidewall adjacent the gullet, and an end cap coupled to the second end of the sidewall.
SHELL CUTTER WITH REPLACEABLE INSERTS
A rotary shell cutter tool can include a cylindrical body defining a center axis extending through the body that further defines a cutting face, a cutting insert, and a cutting recess defined in the cutting face that extends axially into the cylindrical body from the cutting face. The cutting recess can be configured to receive the cutting insert. The rotary shell cutter tool can be configured to have replaceable cutting inserts which can be attached to the shell cutter via a flexure.
SHELL CUTTER WITH REPLACEABLE INSERTS
A cutter may include a body extending between a distal end and a cutting end comprising a cutting face. A cutter may include a monolithic cutting insert coupled to the cutting face. The cutter assembly can include a rotatable body centered about an axis; and a monolithic insert coupled to the rotatable body, the monolithic insert extending between a base and a cutting end including a cutting face.
