Polyherbal Self Micro-Emulsifying Delivery System (SMEDS) composition for multi-disease treatment
The present invention relates to a polyherbal Pan PPAR and ECS Agonist composition with Antioxidant and Anti-inflammatory function to treat and prevent Chronic Pain, Alzheimer's Dementia, Hyperlipidemia, Depression, Anxiety, Inflammatory Disease and Metabolic Disorders. The composition comprises botanical mixture of Palmitoylethanolamide, Botanical Extracts (Nutmeg, Black Pepper, Holy Basil, Cinnamon, Cassia, Ginger, Rosemary, Terpene isolates of Beta Caryophyllene and Limonene), Carotene Complex, Coenzyme Q10, Tocotrienols, Vitamin D3, Vitamin K2-MK7, Piperine, Phyto Cannabinoids derived from Cannabis, Docosahexanoic acid (DHA) and or Alpha Linolenic Acid (ALA).
ANTIBIOTIC CANNABINOID-TERPENE FORMULATIONS
Pharmaceutical formulations are provided that include at least two antibiotically active ingredients: a cannabinoid that is one or more of cannabichromene (CBC), cannabidiol (CBD) and/or cannabigerol (CBG); a sesquiterpene that is one or both of a-humulene and/or β-caryophyllene; and a lipopeptide antibiotic that is daptomycin or an analogue thereof. The antibiotically active ingredients may be provided in relative amounts that amplify their individual activities, including amounts that are synergistically effective in an assay to inhibit growth and/or reproduction of an Enterococcus faecium or an Enterococcus faecalis. Therapies are provided that utilize these formulations as anti-microbials, and provide for the combined use of two or more of the antibiotically active compounds.
ENDOGENOUS STABILIZATION OF CANNABINOIDS
A method for making a stabilized cannabinoid composition includes combining an active cannabinoid, a cannabinoic acid and optionally a carrier to provide a product, wherein the acid is present in an amount effective to improve the stability of the composition.
PACKAGED FORMULATION
A packaged formulation, a method of making said packaged formulation, as well as containers and systems including and using said packaged formulation. In particular, the packaged formulation includes one or more cannabinoids and one or more stabilizing components, wherein said packaging is impermeable to air.
STABILIZED SOLID NANOPARTICLE FORMULATIONS OF CANNABINOIDS AND CANNABINOID ANALOGS WITH REDUCED OSTWALD RIPENING FOR ORAL, INHALATION, NASAL AND PARENTERAL DRUG DELIVERY
The present invention provides compositions comprising cannabinoids and/or cannabinoid analogs and processes for producing the same.
PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION
A pharmaceutical composition in the form of suppository, containing cannabidiol, hyaluronic acid or a salt thereof, and a suppository base containing water is described. The pharmaceutical composition is particularly suitable for use in regenerating and/or healing damaged tissues, or in relieving and/or alleviating pain and inflammation, or in alleviating the symptoms associated with menopause and/or pre-menstrual syndrome.
USE OF CANNABIDIVARIN IN THE TREATMENT OF SEIZURES ASSOCIATED WITH RARE EPILEPSY SYNDROMES RELATED TO GENETIC ABNORMALITIES
The present invention relates to the use of cannabidivarin (CBDV) for the treatment of seizures associated with rare epilepsy syndromes. In particular the seizures associated with rare epilepsy syndromes that are treated are those which are experienced in patients diagnosed with Rett syndrome. In a further embodiment the types of seizures include focal motor seizures with impairment, focal non-motor seizures with impairment, generalised motor seizures, generalised non-motor seizures, unknown onset motor seizures, and non-motor seizures. Preferably the dose of CBDV is between 2.5 mg/kg/day to 10 mg/kg/day.
CANNABINOID FORMULATIONS AND METHODS OF USE
A cannabinoid-containing sol-gel formulation. In particular embodiments, the cannabinoid- containing sol-gel formulation is a thermo-responsive sol-gel formulation suitable for nasal delivery preferentially targeting the olfactory epithelium. The cannabinoid-containing sol-gel formulations comprise thermo-responsive poloxamers and/or poloxamines in addition to a plurality of micelles comprising a poloxamer and/or poloxamine, a surfactant and the cannabinoid composition. The invention also relates to a micellar formulation comprising a cannabinoid composition suitable for use in the sol- gel formulation.
NOVEL CANNABIS PRODUCTION PROCESS AND PRODUCTS THEREOF
The present invention discloses a method for producing cannabis products comprising steps of providing preselected plant parts or whole plant; optionally drying, grinding and/or extracting the plant to provide a first extract; obtaining a pharmaceutical product performing the following cyclic algorithm during or after the previous step: heating the plant/extract to specific temperature range, and collecting vaporized and/or particularized material into fractions; separating the fractions into sub-fractions characterized by particle size; rendering the separated material into a storable intermediate comprising sub-fractions characterized by particle size sufficient to passively cross the BBB; formulating the storable intermediate suitable for administration; wherein at least one of the steps of separating and rendering in the form of a storable intermediate comprise steps of reducing the volume of the collected material; further wherein the steps of reducing the volume comprise steps of water capture of water-soluble particles, and optionally of cycling through a filter membrane.
COMBINATION CANNABINOID-PHENYLETHANOID FORMULATION FOR TREATMENT OF INFLAMMATION AND METHODS RELATED THERETO
The present invention describes cannabinoid formulations that combine cannabinoids, such as CBD, with other active agents within the phenylethanoid class of compounds, such as oleocanthal, which, in combination, provide synergistic anti-inflammatory effects. These combination preparations are capable of increasing anti-inflammatory effects when compared to each individual compound alone, and are further capable of delivery through a variety of administration routes.
