The pneumatic drill has member defining an air input and an air output and a housing defining an internal cylindrical chamber having bearing surfaces having a through axis. A driven shaft is coupled to the tool engaging chuck that defines a plurality of longitudinal slots. The driven shaft is disposed within the chamber and has a longitudinal axis offset from the through axis. A plurality of vanes each being partially formed of graphite that are individually disposed within one of the plurality's of longitudinal slots. Two of the vanes, the housing, and the driven shaft define a moving compression chamber.

AIR CHUCK

An air chuck includes: a finger support part including a pair of fingers and a pair of lock shafts; a chuck main body part including an operation mechanism operable to open and close the fingers; and linking mechanisms that detachably link the finger support part to the chuck main body part. Each of the linking mechanisms causes the corresponding lock shaft to shift to a non-lock position so as to render the pair of fingers capable of being opened and closed when the finger support part is linked to the chuck main body part. Each of the linking mechanisms causes the corresponding lock shaft to shift to a lock position and locks the pair of fingers so as to render the pair of fingers incapable of being opened and closed when the finger support part is detached from the chuck main body part.

Air chuck provided with locking mechanism

A chuck mechanism operates a piston in a cylinder tube by using action of compressed air and opens and closes, by using a rod coupled to the piston, a pair of fingers, thereby gripping work W. The locking mechanism locks the fingers at work grip positions. The locking mechanism includes a first locking member, a second locking member, and a drive device. The first locking member is displaced when the pair of fingers are opened or closed. The second locking member retains the first locking member so as to lock the fingers at the work grip positions. The drive device relatively displaces the first locking member and the second locking member to locking positions and non-locking positions.

A deburring tool for stable processing is provided. The deburring tool includes a cylindrical housing; a spindle loosely fitted and supported to be tiltable with respect to an axis of the housing, the spindle having a rotatable attachment portion for detachably attaching a cutting tool at a distal end; a pressed member arranged to the spindle; a piston slidably disposed inside the housing, the piston configured to press the pressed member toward the distal end; an elastic member configured to urge the piston toward the distal end; a separate ring arranged between the piston and the elastic member; and a flow path for supplying a compressible fluid between the separate ring and the piston.

Portable Power Drill With Pump

An example cordless portable power drill is provided. The drill may include a drill chassis, and a spindle mounted to the drill chassis. The spindle may be configured to drive a working bit. The drill may also include an exit port configured to direct a flow of a substance towards the working bit and an electric motor mounted to the drill chassis and operably configured to rotate the spindle. The drill may also include a pump mounted to the drill chassis. The pump may be fluidly coupled to the exit port, and the pump may be configured to pressurize the substance for output via the exit port to cool the working bit or remove debris created by the working bit through interaction with a workpiece.

CLAMPING DEVICE FOR CLAMPING AN ARTICLE, BALANCING ADAPTER FOR A BALANCING DEVICE, BALANCING DEVICE AND CLAMPING DEVICE SET
20200384546 · 2020-12-10 ·

A clamping device for clamping an article or workpiece to be balanced includes a clamping apparatus for clamping the article. The clamping apparatus has an adjusting device for adjusting the clamping diameter of a clamping body of the clamping apparatus for clamping the article on a placement surface. The clamping body has a disk-shaped spring element sprung in radial direction with a centrally disposed clearance forming at least one spring element cone. The clamping body also has a clamping element inserted into the clearance and having at least one corresponding clamping element cone. The adjusting device has an actuating device for displacing the clamping element relative to the spring element, for moving the cone surfaces of the clamping element cone and the spring element cone relative to one another and for consequently clamping and/or unclamping the spring element in radial direction by the cone surfaces.

DRIVE SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD FOR CHUCK DEVICE

A drive system for driving a chuck device includes a controller and a switching valve, which is a 5-port servo valve, switching the state of supply of compressed air to the chuck device based on a valve command signal from the controller. During switching of first and second fingers from a closed position to an open position, when the axial position of a piston reaches a switch point, which is a predetermined distance short of a target position corresponding to a freely selected intermediate position of the first and second fingers, the switching valve is opened at a third opening for a predetermined period and then switched to be opened at a fourth opening so that supply and discharge of compressed air are stopped. As a result, the first and second fingers stop in the intermediate position.

A chuck with automatic positioning collet is provided. The chuck includes a rotation member, over which a stationary member is sleeved. A piston is arranged inside the rotation member by means of a slidable sleeve that includes an internal thread screwed to an external thread of a collet. The rotation member includes an elastic piston pin assembly selectively alignable with a positioning groove of the collet. The stationary member is provided with two gas passages through which gas introduced may drive the piston to move in opposite directions so as to move the slidable sleeve and the collet in opposite directions to cause a tapering hole of the rotation member to loop tightly up or release the collet and an object received in the collet and the gas simultaneously drives the elastic piston pin assembly to position the positioning groove of the collet.
